Los - Super High
Artist: Los
Producer: DJ Clark Kent & The Remedy
Album: Untitled Mixtape Project
Label: Bad Boy/After Platinum
The 186th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Los, the Baltimore native who earned reader approval for mixtape cut Never Landing back in May. On his brand new, exclusive Super High freestyle, the After Platinum emcee flows over a DJ Clark Kent & The Remedy -produced instrumental originally featured on Rick Ross’ single of the same name. Los is currently working on a yet-untitled mixtape, as well as his debut studio album. In addition, the artist is preparing to drop a new, John Columbus-directed video off his currently-available Zero Gravity mixtape, and has recently taped a segment for BET’s The Deal, to air sometime in the next two weeks.
Readers can download a copy of the newly-released In the Booth (Volume 5), featuring exclusive freestyles 121 through 150, here! Volumes one, two, three and four are available for download here, here, here and here!

If this was the version Rick Ross delivered on his own single, he wouldn't be scrambling internally to figure out what the next move will be before he has to delay the release of Teflon Don.
Los isn't Nas, but he comes correct on his Booth freestyle. Enough so that he gets a 4 in my book! |

This dude killed the mixtape I got a month or so ago. He does the same on this freestyle. He's got some good metaphors and lines. Dude sure will make a splash for people, I'd definitely buy an album from him.

One of the best I'm-better-than-thou rhetoric that I've heard in a minute.
Precisely-timed microphone maneuvers with plenty cleverly crafted rhymes and a lesson in how to bend gimmick to advantage... Your n!gga sh!t is weak, why should I salute you say sh!t like "fcuk you pay me (||) prostitute" |

"Diddy had to drop me, I would have burned his hand." Damn.
There's no way you can be a hip-hop fan and not appreciate a more than two minute flow like this, especially when he speeds up the cadence. Los is that real ish. One of my favorite freestyles in a minute. Dopeness. |

He seems to go offbeat certain times in the song . But overall he ripped it! I can tell this a genuine freestyle. dude is nice though! Ive hear songs of his in the past and he consistently rips to parts other people's instrumentals, i wonder why diddy didn't try to push this guy more? who knows..

Los is a very talented rapper, though he needs to hurry up and drop a mixtape with original production instead of rapping over already famous beats.
The freestyle is dope, he seemed a lot more at home over the production then Ross did. |
