In January of ‘08, DJBooth.net introduced readers to Universal Motown signee London via his Twista-assisted single, One 2 Many. Over the past 20 months, we have featured four additional records, including current single B4 U Go, but none have succeeded in catching on at radio and catapulting the Oakland-born singer to true priority status at his label. Ready to do whatever it takes to grab listeners’ attention, the Atlanta resident has unleashed another potential inclusion on his debut album, Man of My Word. On She Put It Down, a sexy, slowly-winding jam that features production from The Legion (formerly known as The Slapboyz), London acts as a play-by-play announcer, describing the moves of a female who is “working it” on the dance floor. While he isn’t the first (and most certainly will not be the last) to create an R&B cut centered around women dancing at the club, London’s ability to ride the beat should turn a few casual listeners into fans. There is currently no release date for Man of My Word.

He's got the chops and the production muscle here to make some moves. You cannot tell me that this isn't up to par or better than plenty of the mediocre music at radio right now?
Shouts to The Legion. |

Why hasn't this guy blew up yet? He has potential, I was positive B4 U Go was gonna be huge. Nice track though!

His voice is good, the lyrics are generic but fitting. Production is fine as well but once again nothing that really stands out or something that will be remembered for long. I guess it's the borderline average/generic nature in which his records come across that makes em' less likely to blow up. 2.5

song started really good but as he started singing I didn't like it anymore...the production is catchy anyway. This track deserves at least a radio play!
