In the music industry, sexy comes and sexy goes. And since the definition of sexy is constantly changing, many feel the need to bring it back, however they deem necessary. As the latest example in this time honored trend, I give you Jennifer Lopez (or Lola, as she now wants to be called). Coming off an extended wedding/pregnancy hiatus from the music community, Lola is now toting sexy around like an expensive fashion accessory. For her welcome-back single, Lola joins forces with fellow Latino Pitbull over a typically synth-driven Pharrell beat to show the world that even though she’s years removed from the peak of her career, she’s still Fresh out the Oven. No album has been linked to the new track, but we now know that Lola is back on center stage and looking for more. Will the Booth be open to J-Lo’s new alias and new sound? Only time will tell.

There's no way around it, this is a hit. J Lo's verses are MAD catchy, point blank. Pharrell kills that beat, and Pitbull gives it the club energy he's known for. #1 record right here.

So J. Lo is on the "alter-ego" bandwagon eh? Sidebar: I think I just saw her on Monday Night Football because Marc Anthony did the National Anthem. I'm glad she's back on the music scene though. I hadn't heard anything from her in music or acting for quite a while. I'm glad Ms. "Jenny From The Block" is back. I guarantee that an album is cooking up in the "Oven" as we speak, as Lola makes her debut and J.Lo makes her comeback.

I am not a huge fan of J Lo's acting, so I am glad she is working on her music again. Maybe the name/sound change will be for the best? Who knows?

Pitbull and Pharrell know what their are doing, though, so I trust that she is in good hands. We'll see what happens...

Nothing really "standing out from the rest," but this alter ego should get plenty of attention nonetheless. So, in rotation it goes.

Side note: To expand on @that1kid13's quote, how long will it be before some crazy end-timers think Lola's some kind of demon spirit, given form when Jennifer was burned alive in a car fire started by Marc Anthony? (if you watch these crazy YouTube videos, you'll get ir)

Used to be a huge J.Lo fan, not impressed by this track or the whole Lola concept. Straight though.

It’s definitely not the best club-based track she can do and there are too many songs out there way better than this poorly written joint. The hook is on the dumb side and verses aren't any better.

Another album with the concept of Alter-Egos? I vote no.

I can't call this complete garbage, but c'mon. I will give this an OK rating just cuz Pharell lays down some decent production and Pitbull is an obvious fit for her and the song. Having said that, the hook is so unimaginitive and corny that it's almost painful. The song drags on, seemin like it needs some energy for it to get goin. Her verses are OK, but not all that interesting. I'm hopin she can come up w/ somethin better than this in the near future.

@ Mike Dreams - Yep, she was there; as was I. Great game. Dwayne Wade was there as well and I'm 90% sure he was with Fabolous (or someone who looked extremely similar).

As for the song, I'm disappointed. I thought there would be much more energy than what I got. Either way, it's just decent.

First, "Lola"? Seriously? Lopez must have gotten terrible name advice from Diddy. Second, the track's terrible. Just some terribleness all around, only Pitbull saves this from one star.

damn, Lola gettin no love on this site. I personally prefer J-Lo, but ill call her whatev she wants to be called :)

Not her best, but far from garbage. also, better than most any female hip hop artists. Lola sounds great on here, but i agree the lyrics are kinda wack. not many artists can have wack lyrics, but still make it sound good. gotta bump this up a star cuz all the hate goin on right now.

The song disappointed me. I don't really like it.

As for the wanting to be called Lola, that's because it's what Marc Anthony has always called her.

No, actually i don't wish i could pick you up at 8. Who the @*#$! is Lola? I hope your having fun playing around in Narnia and your world of imagination. This song? Pure garbage. Oh, and i didn't know you featured Fergie in this song. IM GLAD YOU CAN SPELL. Lola is pretty damn lucky she got Pharrell and the dog. Lola, please go back to Jennifer Lopez.
