When they first hit our front page with a Pitbull-featuring remix of single I’m In Miami Trick, LMFAO‘s less-than-serious approach to club music left a bad taste in some readers’ mouths, though quite a few praised its high-energy vibe. For fans of body-moving beats who nonetheless weren’t thrilled by the duo’s Booth debut, their latest single selection may come as a pleasant surprise—on the newly-released La La La, the twosome tone down the jokeyness and amp up the danceability to create a fun, infectious ode to puppy love in the club. Backed by their own propulsive, synth-heavy instrumental, Sky Blu and Redfoo address a female so enchanting that a mere glance from her leaves them feeling “on top of the world.” La La La is a sugary, straightforward club record, and I mean that in the best way possible; LMFAO clearly know their audience, and this cut may be just the thing to help get their Party Rock EP a solid release date.

Lookin at the picture I actually thought this was gonna be way tight. (I know: dont judge a book by the cover.) I guess i was expecting a hipster vibe, this club hop def aint my thing.
I can respect this track just for the simple fact that its catchy and def club worthy: the praise stops there. Vocals on the hook and bridge are borderline annoying (although what do I expect from a club song?) Dude's flows are not that great... Not complete trash, but not for me. |

LMFAO has come a long way with this record, you can definitely tell the label had a huge part in creating this track. Really good chance at success commercially because it follows the standard formula. This is way better than I'm In Miami Trick.

i watch dance crew, and when heard that one song (im in miami trick) had no idea it was "im in miami" till i watched the video. i like it now more than i did when i first heard it.

You can definitely tell that LMFAO is striving for a ring tone hit with all of the song's current popular elements. Rap/sing style mixed with a dance-influenced beat along with the infamous auto-tune. Too bad it's not that easy.

I don't really know what to think of LMFAO; I don't think the people on this site are really their demographics (hence the low ratings). People who love electronic music are really feeling these guys; they just sold out a show in my area a few weeks ago and, from what I hear, it was great. Once again though, I'm not a demographic and neither are most of the people on this site, therefor I'm not a big fan. Its okay I guess.

DJ J is right - these guys are not getting much love inside our Booth. I have a feeling (and please do not be offended by this, people) that those of us who are out at the clubs, know what its like to spin a record and get a crowd going, and look to play records with loads of energy and mass female appeal can appreciate what they are doing. No, its not headphone music- and certainly, not of the computer speaker variety. BUT, I'll be damned if your head isn't nodding to this one when you hear it played this summer.

This is a club song, it aint suppose to make sense, its suppose to make you shake yo ass ... but one thing for sure & two thing for certain there is just too much auto-tune on hook (even for me) ... phew!

Yeah, only in the club... ;) although I have no idea what to do with the tempo. Could be a banger, but it's too fast for my feet, kinda chaotic.
It has more of an european appeal... maybe ti'll work over here. |

Way too much autotune on the hook the intro to the song sounds like its gonna be great though. Good lyrics and nice energy this could be hot for the clubs..its decent

Sure this is for clubs, but I quote FredRico, it's way too fast for my feet. I wouldn't know how to dance to this, really! I love catchy and energetic tunes, but not when they are too fast, they make me get hysterical! Anyway I'd put it in my mp3 player, I think it's good for jogging lol

When I see there picture I instantly think..."this is going to be so wack", but it's not. I actually like it. It hyas a nice techno/pop vibe that's really in and it's def catchy. Will it be getting plays in the black communiy....no; maybe a select few will listen but i def see the white community going crazy over this song...especially in the clubs. I really like the song and my fav part is at 2:05 when the song kind of sounds like you're standing outside of a club and you hear the music a certain way. Its incred fresh and it's def going on the pod. Repeat status in my mind.

this song will def put a little variety in your set... maybe throw it on if a bunch of pop-lockers show up, idk i think that this song is dj friendly as you can transfer out of it at several points in the song(or into it, actually) with barely any effort
