Last we heard from Lloyd, the currently-indie R&B singer was busy pushing Pusha, a Weezy-assisted jam promoted to single status thanks in part to the rave Booth reviews received on an earlier version. Where that track saw its artist completely at the mercy of a female whose love was as addictive as cocaine, Lloyd’s latest single finds him in a more assertive mode, instructing his girl to Take It Off so he can – wait for it – break it off. Beatsmith J$Mill borrows a page from UGK‘s book, accenting his synth-theremin boardwork with samples from the duo’s identically-named Dirty Money track as Lloyd lets his lady know what’s up, and J. Holiday paraphrases the late Pimp C on his guest hook. Young Money rising star Nicki Minaj ties it all together with a rapidly-flowed, characteristically Crazy closing verse, complete with the dope if un-P.C. couplet “I’m an Indian giver, I want the quarterback/ If hip-hop was dead, b*tch I just brought her back.” If you like what you’re hearing, you can find more steamy R&B jams and high-caliber guest features on Lloyd’s Young Goldie EP, set for independent release sometime in December.

Slightly below my expectation level for the amount of talent on this record. I much prefer when Lloyd goes the ballad route, but ya have to have a presence in the club these days. Understood, but underwhelmed.

How did Lloyd go from Pusha to this. It's not horrible but just unexpected, in a bad way, where I'm hopeing Pusha wasn't just some fluke.

His voice is always smooth, which saves the song (the hook was dope minus the Pimp C sample) and I've never been a fan of J. Holiday (other than Bed) but he wasn't that bad. And for Nicki Minaj she's kinda like an annoying version of Lil Kim.

always a fan of Lloyd, but we ALL know he can do better. It was decent, but just not up to par.

Nicki... adequate I guess.

I don't know why, but I was expecting a smooth paced R&B record here, but I was dissapointed at what I heard, to be honest, I didn't even finish the track, it wasnt my taste.

Radio-ready production, Lloyd’s voice sounds good over it and J.Holiday, though, doesn't really add anything special, definitely played his part well. I’m not sold on this song, but I can see the appeal it would have for others. Nicki Minaj is in spotlight these days and has a strong following. I definitely think this will create some buzz for Lloyd.

Okay, I admit, I went from hating her songs to liking her stuff. Her comical facial expressions, carefree attitude and emphasis on rhymes to drive her point home on "5 * Sh!t" and "BET Cypher" ... got me! PLUS she's Nice N Thick like an ol Skool Burger King Strawberry Milkshake!!!

I am definitely feeling this. The beat is hot and Lloyd did his thing. He can't always be the ballad singing lady killer lol but this will appeal to some of the ladies. I am not a fan of Nicki Minaj but this verse almost had me converting to a Barbie. Overall a good job

Man I really dont know what most of you were looking for on this track. It was classic Lloyd, classic J.Holiday and they both ride the production smoothly. Not the greatest ever heard but this definitely makes my rotation. I just dont know bout Nicki hahahaha (shaking head) sometimes i'm like YEAH and sometimes im like WHY?

I enjoyed this track. This sounds better than his other recent tracks posted here. I still think Nicki's rhymes are written by Lil Wayne because their flows are nearly identical. Anyhow, she still sounds great on here, and no disrespect if she is really writing her own stuff; its just the way that it sounds...ALL THE TIME. BANGER for Lloyd's great voice, for his mention of Mayweather, and for a good beat!

This song is working on me, but the lyrics by Lloyd and J.Holiday are very smooth. I have to say tho that I am not a big fan of Nicki Minaj but her ad libs on the tail end of the song is very nice. She actually sings quite nicely so big ups to her on that part. Overall the song is a hot one!!

I love the original version of this song with Lloyd fea. J-holiday. I don't really care for the version with Nicki. I think he should have put a stronger female artist on the track and it would have been HOT! But I love the original version I rock wit it all day.

That's it, I fvckn love Nicki! After the Cypher, I was into her and now I see she's definitelt has this unique style that we've never seen from a female MC before! She's crazy, plays with the words and FLOW! That's expressive stuff.

I don't get how this is not gettin love from the members, beat is cool, the guys had their vocals on point, it's a sure banger!
