We here at DJBooth don’t like to brag, but we’re kind of a big deal. Lloyd’s track Pusha received such a highly positive response on the Booth, including staying at the top of our charts for several weeks, that Lloyd’s camp decided to release it as a single with the addition of…wait for it…Lil Wayne (shocking, I know). As hard as it was to improve on The Runners’ addictive beat, Lloyd’s soulfully slim vocals and that sexy as hell Spanish intro, Lil Wayne drops a drug-laden verse (again, shocking) that gives the track an extra edge. Does Weezy make this version better than the original? It’s up to the Booth to decide. Having left Universal and The Inc., Lloyd is currently an independent man. The title and release of his next project are still uncertain.

Its not Weezy (who delivers a usual "ft. Lil Wayne" verse) The OG kinda grew on me to a point that it became very difficult to get the beat unstuck from my head. 3.5

This is a hit - Lloyd and Wayne make a great team, as much as I'd like to see Lloyd stop using him as a crutch. Runners delivered top notch on this beat, especially when that chorus transitions in. Weezy snapped on here, and Lloyd was ok, with not much of a vocal presence. 3 stars.

I've been bumpin this version for about a week on my iPod and I really like it. I love this production and Lloyd's fresh vocals. Wayne only improves it in my opinion. He gives it another dimension. Banger!

This song was hot w/o Wayne and it still is. He dosen't ruin it but dosen't improve either. Lloyd's voice is smooth and knows how to flow over the beat. Speaking of that, The Runners always comes with a hot beat. The concept of using a drug as a metaphor is old, this is a nice exception.

This is WAYYY better than the original, not only because Wayne killed it, but I can tell it has been remastered a bit.

I have always loved Lloyds voice, and this just makes his coffee smooth flow permantent. This song is great, just like "Girls Around the World" and Wayne's verse is great too. Not to mention the AMAZING production.

Really digging this. Have to say though, Wayne's definitely a welcome addition, by his standards his verse is just ok. He mostly relies on a bunch of his old lines ("I feel like dying"). I find it hard to believe Weezy couldn't come up with some new drug/sex punchlines. By contrast, Llyod's "Cobain, Cobain, she blows my brain" is the best line of the song.

its better than the version with Juelz... just wish lloyd would find a new voice instead of the tired mailed in verses of juelz and wayne... but hes smart to stick with what was successful...

This song is pretty good. I like Lloyd's hook more than anything. Wayne's verse was average by Wayne's standards. Always love a hot beat by the Runners!

I like this version more than the other one. There are no big differences honestly, but on this one the music is more amplified and I like the rap verse...banger!

The hook is addicting. The original "original single" was a hit and Wayne does not hurt that opinion.

Maybe it's because I might be much older than most who have or will post on here but I'm going to drop some honesty. The beat IS infectious. Lloyd's voice IS as lovely as ever but to mention "Cobain" right before "she blows my brain"...not necessarily one of the best artistic moves. This is bound to offend someone and even if it doesn't, I would hope that someone would raise a hand and say "Hold up. Cobain has a widow and a child still out there." It's a mistake to write lyrics in a vacuum and it's poor artistry to come up with words just for the sake of making them fit a rhyme scheme. Fans may consider themselves true blue by singing only praises but you have to love an artist enough to also let them know when they're steppin' in it big time. Otherwise, it just does them a disservice.
