Love is in the air today, Booth readers – and by “love” I mean lust. After hearing Nappy Boy quartet One Chance announce their intent to bypass conversation and get right down to business on new single Sexin’ on You, the transition to the latest effort from R&B mainstay Lloyd could hardly have been smoother. Let’s Get It In finds the Young Goldie crooner at the local spot, dead set on… well… getting it in with a certain female clubgoer. And, as he explains over Rob Holladay and Polow Da Don‘s club-friendly synth/handclap backdrop, he hasn’t got a minute to lose: “I wish I had time to get to know you but I don’t / I wish I could be here in the morning but I won’t…” Acting as Lloyd’s wingman on this joint is none other than 50 Cent; the G-Unit head honcho keeps his cool on the record’s front end, asking a chick he’s got his eye on for “just a touch of your love.” So, readers, is Get It In a worthy successor to highly-acclaimed lead single Lay It Down? Those who think so should keep it locked for all the latest news and tunes leading up to the December arrival of King of Hearts.

There are good Llyod records and there are great Lloyd records - his voice is that catchy. I'd classify this song as a "good Llyod record." Its pleasant on the ears, has repeatability, and Lloyd sounds at home over the production.

I knew Lloyd was gonna deliver on his second single. He is serious about making "King of Hearts" his best effort yet. Can't wait to have it in my collection.

This just sounds like a album cut not much of a single. Lloyd is always great and though 50 was decent, they're much more rappers out their that are better at guest features. Still a good record, but I was kepting more.

I think this is a nice follow-up to the first single "Lay It Down" and makes me even more excited for the new album. I just wish the song was a little longer with maybe one more verse from Lloyd. Overall, I enjoyed the song. Some of his vocals sound very reminiscent to MJ - he sounds great.

This track is meant for radio, until they play it to death and then everyone in two weeks about this track. And why was 50 even on this? he had like 3 bars and bounced.

From Jeremih to Lloyd, it feels like 50's been doing a lot of guest work on r&b jams. And did Fiddy reference a C&C Music Factory song? Wow, we're a long way from nine shots to the face.

Anyway, I'd rather focus on Lloyd. This isn't my favorite from him, that quasi-auto-tuned/rock section just doesn't work for me, but he's become of my favorite young r&b dudes. He may do radio cuts, but he always seems to give them a little bit of original style.

Typically I'm a fan of classic RnB sound, but these type of cuts from Lloyd are enjoyable. Fifty is tolerable on this track and the production is hella catchy. Nice collab.

I had to listen to this a few times before I could put it into my rotation. I kept comparing this track to the Jeremih-50 Cent track and it wasn't as catchy. I expected a better beat from Polow is all. It's sunk in.

Def. a alright song for a group going out to the club. Once again not my kind of music so can't take that opinion that far, 50 cent sounds like the disco inferno days. More a chick song I'm feelin

Polow Da Don produced it, and I'm quite liking the subtle electronic beat he introduced here. Very good track, and this may become (promo is always fundamental though!) a hit for Lloyd. Definitely atleast within the Top 10 on the R&B Chart.

50 Cent starts proceedings with his sexy talk-rap, and Lloyd smoothes his charm all over the track with some velvety vocals.
Seducing a girl has never been so sexy.

It's good but it's missing key elements, Fitty was a great touch IMO. Still a Lloyd fan though :p

At first I didn't like this.....and I think it's because of 50. Lloyd should have just done the solo....LOVE the chorus though....
