With the help of a few of his good friends, upstart singing sensation Lloyd has made a song for Girls All Around The World. Following the release of Lloyd’s official radio single, How We Do It, DJBooth is proud to bring you another exclusive joint from the Atlanta-native. Produced by Big Reese and Jasper, who are also responsible for crafting the Street Love smash hit, You, Girls All Around The World utilizes a classic 80’s-era sample (e-mail me if you know it) and once again features the resourceful and always-handy, Lil’ Wayne. Lloyd has tentatively titled his forthcoming album Lesson In Love (The Inc./Universal Motown), which could be released as early as this summer.
This beat is crazy! Lloyd doesn't do the song any justice though, sorry to say...but Weezy kills it (of course)...Good summer track, lookin forward to bumpin it next week when I'm in Panama City!
Yo Z! Now I know I was asking you just yesterday about Lloyd! I am really feeling his skills on the mic lately. His voice is so smooooooth on these sick productions. It can't get better than this. I now can't wait for the album because they are continuing the trend of the last album which was excellent. Sounds like that 112 joint during the verses! Lil wayne does his great no-effort freestyle flow which just sold me on making this track a CLASSIC!
Lil Wayne and Lloyd have spoken about doing a collaboration album together and if they continue to release fly collaboration records like these I see why not!
Lloyd is moving up the ladder expeditiously. It won't be long before he reaches the top where JT and Usher are chilling. Moreover, he needs to maintain his consistency. Lil' Weezy might have a another massive year as a featured artist. He's at a good pace.
Wow this is hot. This is definitely lloyd stepping up; this MJ/old school feel to his voice WORKS for him. I don't think it was even necessary for weezy to make an appearance as the track is good enough by itself. Lil wayne flowing at the end was just icing on the cake.
That little voice in the back (all around the world) or sum @*#$! is very annoying. 1 FREAKIN STAR! (the song is wack.) I can't even wait for wayne's part to cum for the terror on my ears of lloyd's singin
good track...it was cool and all but lloyd is better then this... hes tryin to hard on this shyt... lil wayne...y bother commentin on him...he killed it...from now on before listenin to da song we assume weezy kills it...but good song...3 stars
He already looks like 1982 Michael Jackson, and now he definitely sounds like him. Lloyd is smashing the game right now! Lil Wayne's verse is actually kind of B-Grade on this one. Not bad, but not better than the "You" verse or anything else Wayne's ever dropped for that matter.
yooo this is my sht .. the song is crack and i love love love the sample of slick rick ...i love it .. this song is the jam .. lloyd has a talent for remaking songs as yall can see from "you" and him and weezy together is doin sum damage .. need to get together and shut wack ass bowwow and omarion down! when i first heard this i thought that lloyd cudda went like a tincy bit harder .. and this wud be crack but i love it
i agree qit pattypatty85... da production iz only ok...You raised da bar as far as lloyd singles, n dis just doesnt do it... wayne wasnt at his best n da sample coulda been used a bit less... itz ok
This one will definitely have to grow on me...the beat is hot...it's Lloyd's voice that I really can't stand. After a few weeks and a few more listens then I might feel differently.
Took me back to 88! I miss that sound! lloyd's swagger is needed in the R&B game right now! I really dug his last album and look 4ward to this next one. This song is fire. Wayne kills it!
THE BEST SUMMER TRACK OUT RIGHT NOW.ITS TOO HOT.THE BEAT IS TOO SICK,WEEZY KILLS IT WITHOUT TRYIN.NOT A FAN OJ LLOYD ON A GRAND SCALE EVEN THOUGH I DO THINK THAT HE HAS SOME SUPER HOT SONGS EVEN WITHOUT THE SONG FEATURING ANY1 ELSE.THIS SONG IS HOT.PERIOD
