UK fans of Lloyd’s kitten-like vocal stylings would be wise to ready their pearls for clutching, because the R&B crooner is making his way across the pond on a UK tour to bless British audiences with his golden voice. Considering his international voyaging, it’s only right for the A-Town native to drop a new UK single to commemorate the tour (kicking off today), so we have the two-stepable Do It Again to get things started on the right foot (see what I did there?). For all the ‘80s babies listening, you might recognize the ambient melody of Berlin’s Take My Breath Away (from the film Top Gun) sampled in the background, thanks to the talents of production duo Street Dreams. Although an earlier version of this song with cameo bars from Nelly was leaked last week, this featureless rendition (we assume you’re already streaming) is the real deal and is available for digital consumption on iTunes. Lloyd will spend the remainder of the month overseas, but we look forward to hearing more from him once he returns stateside. In the meantime, press play and prepare for Lloyd to take your breath away…

Lloyd beat JR Rotem to an 80s sample?! I smell beef! Just kidding, I actually smell (well, er, hear) a catchy record. I mean, lets be honest - Lloyd could sing about an oil change and it would sound good.

Interesting sample to say the least, but I agree with Z that this is a catchy record. This isn't my cup of tea, but it's a hit nonetheless.

This is a nice feel-good track by Lloyd. Voice sounds smooth as usual. Good "stay-busy" promo-track to throw in the R&B rotation.

What can I say? Lloyd is the king of R&B crooners. I also tend to enjoy fast Hz cutoff noises so the oddball production by Street Love manages to be both original and reminiscent of those classic lloyd tracks on the Street Love album.
