Lloyd Banks - In Love Wit Ya Boy ft. Ron Browz
Artist: Lloyd Banks
Featuring: Ron Browz
Producer: Ron Browz
Album: Unknown Project
Label: G-Unit/EMI/Capitol
Though we’re already one quarter into ‘09, the Aftermath-Shady-G-Unit execs are still planning to make it the year they take over the rap game. Following the May 19th release of Eminem‘s Relapse, 50 Cent‘s Before I Self-Destruct, Dr. Dre‘s Detox (finally!), and Bishop Lamont‘s debut The Reformation will take the charts by storm (well, at least the first two). As the smoke starts to clear, G-Unit‘s second-in-command, Lloyd Banks, will rebound from the letdown that was Rotten Apple with the release of his currently-untitled junior album. The leaked record off the forthcoming project finds the Unit’s youngest teaming up with the biggest trendsetter to emerge from New York in the past year, Ron Browz, to make sure all the ladies across the globe are In Luv Wit Ya Boy. Despite Browz’ heavy beat threatening to overpower the vocals, the collaborators’ distinctive flows should be enough to get In Luv Wit Ya Boy spun in the clubs and at radio. The only question is, by the time the single gets going, will listeners already be tired of Browz’ autotuned rhymes?

Damn! G-g-g-g-g-Unit in the building LOL! This right here is a straight banger! Crazy energy on here, and Banks has a mad flow. Production is CRACK, Browz delivered here.Banks has always been my favorite in the Unit, but his albums could be sooo much better.

is this the first single?? This is hot! Banks flow is unmatched and for once Browz production is pretty impressive, but his off-tune autotune is still really annoying...

Ron Browz wasnt needed on this track b/c Banks makes the song good by himself. I like his flow and rhymes on here really solid verses especially the first one. I cant lie Ron Browz had lightweight flow on his verse but most of the times he sounded out of place on this track. In rotation

What do people see in this Ron Browz dude? There are so many other artists out there that would have made this song legit. Banks sounded good, but I just can't take Browz' auto-tuned voice for very long. Could have been better.

This is fire, Lloyd Banks brings some heat on this & the production from Ron Browz was sick. Ron Browz probably wasnt needed on the track, but he didnt effect what I thought to be a pretty dope track

Banks gets an A (especially for effort - he finally put a lot into this one). As for Browz, while I cannot say I enjoy his hook-work, I know the radio stations and women will dig it.
I don't know where Banks goes from here, but I do hope its up. |

Production was hot, would have gave it 5 stars, if it wasn't for that hook and the use of autotune. This could have been a catastrophe if Lloyd wasn't on the track; would have been reminiscent of the dreaded "Pop Champagne".

That sound at the background gets annoying fast, like a sound from all the advertising around the internet that you don't even know where they're coming from... and the "heys" during the WHOLE song?!? 0_o WTF?!
What's good about this production again?? Chorus is horrible and yet he gets to do a verse?! :s this is a perfect example of a bad use of the autotune. I don't hate the tool, but Browz... seriously! -.-' Why would a gangsta waste his breath on him?! |

I was starting to get worried after reading the first few feedbacks until FredRico showed up ... thanks fam
Minimal Browz on the track would've made this so much better for me ... his high-frequency autotune notes are simply trash ... but Lloyd rides this one much better ... its quite clear dat hes trying to force a club or radio hit... beat is so distractingly annoying that it drowns out anything productive dat he might have said... |

This is nice but ron browz should stop using the auto-tune because only certain people known how to used it

LOL@ FRED! I think Ron Browz as a whole is a Waste as an artist and a waste of a perfectly good Auto-Tune machine! Give it to me and I could do better!
However, Lloyd BANKS BRINGS it on this track, but Ron Brows just Ruins it all! He is just HORRIBLE! He did a decent job on the beat. If Ron wasn't in it, it would be a rare Lloyd Banks BANGER, but since he is all over the record (like P-Diddy) this is just OK. |

It's frustrating to see a rock solid spitter like Banks get stuck on some relatively second-rate production work (also see Rotten Apple). When the Unit was hot, so was Banks and he received QUALITY production on Hunger for More.
While this isn't Browz's worst production, it's not his best either. And his off-tune hook (on and auto-tune? isn't that what it's for??!) is miserable. I can't believe that his verse is the best part about what he brings to this track. 2 stars, but only for Banks, hope he comes back with something harder. |

Let me first say that I used to like Lloyd Banks, I've always hated Ron Browz. This beat is not the greatest, but it is pretty hot. I just dont think, like Burmy was sayin, Banks' chill vocals work well over it. I do like the energy he comes wit on this track, and I like the hard-hittin beat, but he jus gets drowned out.
Now, what can I say about Ron Browz? Dude can't even sing, even when he uses an autotune it sounds horrible... Isnt it supposed to make bad singers keep their pitch and sound a little better?!?! his problem is he sticks on the same note or couple of notes the whole song, which sounds HORRIBLE. Decent effort by Banks and Browz on the hook, but this just didnt work out... |

I'm really feeling the production on here. It has a oldskool esqe feel to it. When I listen to it i feel like doing oldskool dances. I'm def a fan of Ron Browz but on here i just wasn't feeling it. Lloyd is def good in my book i haven't heard anything from him in a while and I'm glad to see him back. Is this single worty...maybe/maybe not. This is like a 50/50 song. Somepeople will like it and others won't. Ron Browz just kills the song for me (in a bad way). It might grow on me but right now its not.

every since banks drop the mixtape I think his expectation bar went up and this joint I think doesnt make it. The beat is drownin out his vocals. You can bearly hear what he saying and on top of ron made it sound commerical too commerical.

Ok, someone please explain to me what's good about this damned song...production is simple. As in, really simple. And I don't know why anyone thought it would be a good idea to put Browz in this - or any song. Please, find something more productive to do with you're life!! And take Flo Rida and Asher Roth with you! I won't ever listen to this again. But, it gets one star, because it made me realize just how good music can be, when you compare it to this crap.
