Livvi Franc - Now I'm That B*tch
Artist: Livvi Franc
Producer: Salaam Remi
Album: Untitled (TBD)
Label: Unsigned
Five years ago, few mainstream listeners had even heard of the Caribbean island of Barbados. Now, with Rihanna a worldwide icon and Shontelle gaining popularity due to successful single T-Shirt, it’s a good time to be a young female Bajan striving to make it in the music industry. Just ask 21-year old Livvi Franc; recently signed to Jive (I know what you’re thinking, but they’re great with the pop stars), she’s getting ready to release her debut album, which features such heavyweight producers as RedOne, J.R. Rotem, and Greg Kurstin. Not one to mince words, Livvi lets all her exes know where they stand on new single Now I’m That B*tch; as much as they want her back, they’ve blown their chances and that’s that. Salaam Remi backs up the big-talk with a pulse-heavy beat clubgoers can’t help but get up and dance to. Judging by the hit potential Franc brings to the table on this cut, she may well be the third Bajan songstress to hit it big stateside.

This is a kinda sexy/slutty record, pretty solid debut. Pretty catchy track for sure, I can dig this. So when are the Rihanna comparisons coming?

Her vocals need a little improvement and the hook isnt all that. The production is decent but needs improvement too. Not bad but nothing great

This track doesnt really showcase her vocal ability too well, so I'm not sure about her there. It obviously has a pop appeal, but just the type of thing that drives me crazy. This could end up bein one of those songs everyone knows cuz of that line in the hook, but the rest of the album is horrible. idk we'll see I guess.

Definitely sounds like Rhianna here. Lotta potential with this chick. It was an enjoyable listen, but probably won't get too many plays in my rotation. It was OK.

that production is ridiculous. vocals, lyrics, chorus ruin the song tho. Rihanna woulda completley smashed this.

Salaam delivered an absolute club banger. I don't need to type up a reason why I like this record. Its fun, catchy, danceable, and perfect for DJs to spin in the club; women will love and the men will love that they love it. Get It?

Understood Z ...
Its great for a debut single by the girl, and capable for getting many radio and club spins ... On behalf of Nathan.S - "short on lyrical depth but long on dance-ability and pop infused enjoyment" ... haha |

I def am a true rotational listener...meaning i like almost every genre of music. So, hearing something like this def makes me take a closer listen. I actually found myself dancing to this song like a "white girl" while sitting in my chair. That whole pop vibe is really in right now and I think if this is her single she'll go far with it. It reminds me of a Pussycat Doll song. With the right promotion she'll def get some radio play and hopefully it'll make it high enough on the billboard to actually make a statement. Then again it could flop on the airwaves;its sort of like a hit or miss song. I def could see Rihanna singing this as well. Overall I'm feeling and its def going on the pod.

Yeah Z I get it. The formula to get a club banging beat with a banging female singer to make a bangin song in the clubs works for everybody! It seems like Lady GaGa has inspired females to go for the club pop approach. This song is catchy, who wouldn't remember "Now I'm That B*TCH!"?

DAMN!! 1st of all, this gurl lookN damn good..as far as the track,str8 from jump, with the title alone, this one should def' be a club banger..it packs that attitude, and feel good beat to it..a remix with kanye would probably set it off tho'

Similar to a vouge song[if its remixed]..she looks like the typical barbados girl and her voice is almost below standard so i dont see her meetin success over there but the song is ok..deff wont listen to it again

Huge club potential here. Really liked the beat, matched perfectly with what they were going for. Vocals weren't anything ground breaking, but the ladies are going to love going out and hearing this one.

Weird song. Club banger for sure! It's catchy and energetic, and she has a good voice. 3,5 (lacks something to be a complete banger)

I love the production! Salaam killed this! Livvi, however, needs some serious work on her vocals. At a couple of spots, I could barely stand to listen to her. Not a good first impression at all. It's gettin two stars from me. Nothing more.

I'm gonna go on a limb. And say I'm down with Livvi Franc. This is a banger. Out of all the female vocals coming around this strikes me as hot.
