Prepare for the Carter IV buzz to reach critical mass in five, four, three, two… On She Will, single numero quatro off the long-awaited project, Lil Wayne recruits Drake for a meditation on a mutual favorite topic: women. Over T-Minus’ whirring synths and pensive bell arpeggios, the Young Money megastar and his heavyweight protégé pay tribute to a fine female who’s willing give it up for the “realest n*ggas in the f*ckin’ game right now.” At least, that’s the ostensible theme; as usual, Weezy doesn’t hesitate to stray from the beaten path in search of a choice rhyme: “Some people hang you out to dry like a towel rack / I’m all about I, give the rest of the vowels back.” As for Drizzy? While the T-Dot hitmaker doesn’t get the opportunity to drop a verse of his own, there’s no arguing with the star power he brings to the record’s chorus. Time to weigh in: has She Will accomplished its goal of getting you hyped for Weezy’s latest opus? Either way, fans stateside will be able to cop this record as a digital download August 23, one week before the album (finally!) arrives on store shelves.

On the real...there is nothing special about this track, but given the hip hop heavyweights involved it will be in rotation for a while. Weezy's punchlines are starting sounding the same, the verses on this sound pretty similar to his feature on Motivation. I cant complain with Drake on the hook, he is the highlight on the song to me.

Certainly, A couple of recycled punchlines thrown in by Weezy (not to mention the subject matter) but I'm not too bothered by that. T-Minus dropped a solid beat and Drake delivers too... I'm feeling it...

Production's hot, lyrics decent, but nothing from this era has justified the name "Tha Carter IV".

it's a good song but it's missing something i dont know if
it's the beat or wayne's weak lyrics. |

honestly, i give up...
Instrumental - on point for the aura of the song...like, i dont think you can ask for any better Weezy's verses - interesting, im not sure what is exactly weak about them. Yes, they probably lack lupe's deep metaphors, but weezy has never been known to write super deep songs. He does what he does best - punchlines. That being said this song is NOT short of them. Drake's Chorus - Amazing, buuutttt....long. To me, a chorus is supposed to be the salt and seasoning of a song. Not the meat. However, Drake did his thing, and thats the only thing i can complain about it: the length. Really, in my opinion, the ONLY thing this song possibly was missing to make it seriously amazing, was a verse from Drake, and knowing him, he'd prolly make a remix of this in about a week... anyway, 4.5 rounded up, to 5 |

"..and we gone be alright if we put drake on every hook." can't argue with ya weezy and this is better than every single so far (excluding 6'7) but this album is going to flop hard in the minds of people that no music (and the history of Waynes career).. but of course, this will be on the top 40 in no time ha.

.... I liked this song better the first three times I heard it. Lil Wayne's songs get old QUICK! One reason right there I'd never purchase a Lil Wayne album. Lack of creativity and replay value.

I don't see where all the hate is coming from? Wayne has been dropping quality music of late. Sure he aint' the lyrical king but these are the guilty pleasures of hip-hop. Something to enjoy and not truly refelct upon.

Solid track. T-Minus is shaping up to be quite a top producer. Still sick of Drake though! Interested to see what C4 will bring

Sickest production I've heard from T-Minus yet. I want this instrumental!
Drake's chorus is solid. I thought it was a bit long too. Weezy, sadly, is the weak point. Recycled many metaphors. |

@Leon D yea i've definitely noticed that Waynes punchlines are getting quite repetitive. He keeps using the "they say..." lines (like "they say numbers don't lie, I'm not the one"P). That shit is getting so old and thats why I rarely click on lil wayne songs anymore.
Wish drake woulda had a verse... |

Good song, but it's nothing special. It's better lyrically- in my opinion- than what we've recently been hearing from Wayne. As one of my friends said, it's more of a Drake song than a Wayne song. More than likely released to gain as much hype for C4 as possible.
T-Minus made a pretty nice beat for this song, and Drake's voice compliments it well. Lol @ Rick Ross releasing a remix of this song earlier today. |

Weezy is really out of shape right now, and because of his weak punchlines I can't see this track as a banger or even something greater than that.

is it sample, really remind me of something else, likin the lines but it could've done with a bit more change up from these heavyweights its sounding like the lines of right now.
But, the beats, bass and hooks bring it together for me |

Can't wait for Carter IV to finally drop. The production on this track is sick. I'm feelin the Weezy flow on this one. I like how the beat changes when Drake comes on in the Chorus. Good track all around. Easily a BANGER!

This is - in my honest opinion - the best record we've heard from the impending Carter IV album, and its only marginally above average. I think Wayne built up unreasonable expectations over the past 4 years. The production is excellent, but Drake's contribution here borders on boring. Still, though, a radio-ready version should get plenty of spins.

Overall I'm definitely feeling this song. Lil Wayne didn't come as well with the rhymes as I think he could've, but he did good enough and had a couple of replayable bars. Part of me would've liked to hear a verse from Drake but his hook was so long that a verse would've made it too much considering it's not his own track. The hook was cool, however, and so was the T-Minus beat. I hope Drake plans on working with T-Minus for a track or two on his own cd because between this and "I'm On One,"it's obvious that they make sick tracks together.
