Outstanding, a softer toned song that clearly is not intended to be a single, nonetheless, shows serious wordplay skill, complete with Wayne’s eccentric similes about everything you’d never expect to be rapped about in a song. However, the hook (or lack thereof) proves he is still ready to enter uncharted territory with his music. DJ Cipha Sounds, NOT Hip-hop legend Dr. Dre, provides a simple harp-laced beat, possibly so the listener can focus on the future legends’ lyrics. Either way, Outstanding tastes good as an appetizer until the main course arrives in early 2008.

He is the best rapper right now and this track is hot...I heard a bunch of tracks from the carter 3, but so far, it doesn't sound better than carter 2...I hope what i heard is just test tracks and not gonna be on the actual album...

everybody needs to learn how to read. it obviously says in the description that it DJ Cipha Sounds with the beat not the legendary Dre. don't dis the man for something he didnt do. the track is different but still good.
I find this piece ceative..This is a lyrical song, he has a low beat because he wants you to feel what he is sayin, not so you can throw a party to it....
