As I pointed out in the blurb for Red Rum, Lil Wayne is set to be an even busier man in ‘09 than he was in ‘08, possibly releasing four albums before the year’s end: one re-release (Carter III: Tha Rebirth), the final two albums in the Tha Carter series, and a rock side project (comparable to Kanye West’s 808s & Heartbreak). On Yes Weezy indulges his penchant for bizarre, free-association metaphors, indulging a lyrical persona that our own Nathan S. refers to as Mr. Out-Of-His-Mind. Meanwhile, Pharrell is grimier than we’ve ever heard before, delivering a sharp imitation on the hook and going completely chaotic on the beat. But one question remains: will it be a hit among listeners? If you’re looking for my opinion, just refer to the title.

For some reason I was really feelin this one. Pharrell's beat was different and unlike anything else he's really made before, and I liked how they traded off verses. Wayne came hard as well. I bumped this in my car a couple days ago and that made me like it even more. Givin this one a 4.

Yes The King Is Back!!! It is about time is isn't doing some wack crap. Hot revolver only got good at the end. Wayne is holding down my city better than anyone. I hate to say it but I love the song. Maybe I am prejudice because I live in the area he does. Louisiana go hard no lie, but the best is Lil wayne and he will say it straight up. The only thing different is that he has the sales to back it up. Tha carter 3 out sold basically everything since the start of the new millennium. I mean the ony thing close was 50 cents debut album. You think you heard the best from wayne and then BANG he got something better. Wayne Till I Die!

This sounds kinda like a milli its like a all out freestyle. The beat is simple yet hypnotizing. Weezy flow is average but I'm kinda getting tired of his wordplay after this one. Pharrell came decent. Average song

This one is ok. Lil Wayne is by far NOT THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE...I mean seriously, he's enjoyable to listen to but not the BEST alive- he can be very annoying- for example: this one....my gosh, this is far from the BEST- do yall even hear him lol.....I'm just sayin though. Plus, if you were the BEST- you wouldn't need all those sound affects added to their voices. Nuff said.

Four albums this year? I think thats really overdoing it, people are gonna get sick of him. I think he should re-release tha carter 3 and put out that one similar to heartbreak, his new voice seems better on those type of songs now and save the other carters for years to come. I like this much more than red rum, BANGER very unique, pharrel has become a beast

Just had to clear something up since it seems I am the only 50-cent fan on the site (just kidding).
@Tanner Kaelyn - To date Tha Carter 3 has sold about 3 Million copies so far for the year...50 cent get rich or die tryin sold 7 million copies in the first year. Go look it up on Wiki (or any other source)...Lil Waynes Carter 3 isn't even close...and even farther apart when you look at worldwide sales... But to be fair, that was about 6 years ago when people could still actually sell that much... Just making sure facts are correct when they roll off of people's tongues!
