After several delays and a plethora of buzz singles, Yung Berg has finally set March 11th as the release date for Look What You Made Me. While the second official single has yet to be released, and Berg continues to crank out possibilities, the world is treated to another song entitled B*tch Please. Lil’ Wayne (who collaborated with Berg on Gettin’ to the Money) once again assists by using his T-Pain-certified voice box on the hook (a la Duffle Bag Boy). That alone could be enough to ensure a hit, but Cash Money’s Brisco puts in a verse at the end and producer Drumma Boy sticks with a familiar and likable sound on the beat. Tune in March 11th to find out what we made Berg.
Haha, Yung Berg must seriously be desperate. I guess he has decided to let the hottest rapper in the game spit his entire record for him...Berg doesn't come in until 2 minutes into the song! This tracks sounds like a Berg instead of a Weezy and Brisco feature. I LOVE Lil Wayne's voice over the talk box, way better than T-Pain.
WEEZY LYRICS ARENT GR8 BUT THE DELIVERY'Z ON POINT AS ALWAYS, DRUMMA BOY KOOD STICK TO THIS PRODUCTION SOUND CUZ IT BANGIN, BERG RYHMES ARE HOT N BRISCO DID HIS THANG TOO BUT I DOUBT THIS BECOME A SINGLE WITH A TITLE CALLED "BITCH PLEASE" THIS ON ROTATION ALL DAY!!!!!!!1
Aight ya'll, I'm starting a debate that I want som feedback on: Im a diehard fan of hip hop forev, but why is the recent trend to straight up copy each others styles. Let me give a few examples:
1) Someone somewhere came out with a 2 step dance. All of a sudden you have Snap Yo Fingers, Lean W It Rock W It, 2 Step, Walk It Out, laffy taffy, Chicken noodle soup, crank dat, and then batman crank dat (Which is copying an already copied trend if you follow haha)and a ton of others.
2)T Pain comes out with his voice box, and all of a sudden everyones starting to use it. Including Chris Brown, Weezy, and NORE and Snoop who are 2 vets in the game who shouldnt be copying anyones style. This one really gets me cuz T Pain should be defined from the voicebox and not let his career and uniqueness suffer.
3)All the damn songs featuring 5 other rappers. The point of makin a track is to showcase your lyrical ability, not spit for 30sec and then let the same 5 other dudes take the other 4 min of your song.
Yall cant deny this $hit so think about it ha ha
Yo, cb126405: I feel you on every point you made! Moving on to this song.... Berg isn't a fan favorite of my coworker Nathan S., so I feel as though I owe Berg some props for the lack of respect he has earned here. Although it must wait... until he runs out of buzz singles.
cb126405: Yo I hear what your sayin but that is how music has worked forever. One person will innovate the sound, and the rest will adapt to it and that is how genres evolve. That was actually the main focus of jazz music. About the song, it's okay.
I think wayne should stop putting his name on all of these average people's tracks. I think he should just do his own thing because he is so strong that he heavily outshines anyone of these B-list rappers. I have to give it a good score just on the fact that weezy runs shit on this track!
i agree blaze wayne is getting rich off of these rappers but he got to be smarter cuz its taken away from his creativity. berg is average at best. this song is banging though. and cb126405. the voice box was hot way before t-pain he just brought it back, music evovles and thats a perfect example how the voice box has made its way back into the scene. T-pain seperates his self from these other artist though. as far the dance craze i feel ya on that but just like crank dat soulja boy it was a hundred crank dats before soulja boy just that he grinded harder and made it. now theres another hittin the airwaves so it seems like they copying but really its just a trend that has already been heavy on the underground and is making national exposure
It was Roger Troutman from the group Zapp who invented the voice box... it was popular back in the 80's... I know this cause i used to date his daughter
druss07: i have to agree with you zapp & roger had it way back. Ahhh *day dreams * " so rough, so tough", "heard it threw the great vine" people liked it then, and like it now.
now I think that this song is okay. i like lil wayne's part. its young burg Ft. lil wayne. but to me wayne makes the song and sets the tone.
Tha hook hot...Weezy sick...Brisco voice vicious... Berg cool... In my collection because of WAYNE though... Best Artist 2 get 4 a Collabo... Don't believe me... Ask the other 200 artists he's worked with on here... Ya Dig?

Brisco is so sick! Wayne rips this up, and how the f*ck does Berg KEEP ON getting all of these feature artists? I would never want to work with him on a track, he ain't nothin special. Im feeling Brisco though, and Waynes kills it all but that voice box gets annoying after Brisco's verse.
90 percent of these comments don't even mention Yung Berg, when you're the least interesting part of your own song, thats a problem. Weezy gets 4 stars, Berg gets 1, we'll call it a 3.
Lil Wayne owned this track, "let me get that hand clap, I'm rich and black, I'm young and strap." The way the hand clap comes in with his lyrics is tight. Music evolves and revolves that's the way it's always been, since the days of classical, gospel, and big band era.
I don't think Royale was speaking literally Burmy, more like Weezy dominates the track so hard it seems more like a lil wayne track feat. berg than vice-versa
cb126405 this voice box that everyone is refering to was being used in R&B long befor T-pain.
Zapp and Rogers made it famous, before them I'm not sure if anyone was actually very succesful? (maybe Queen? Mr Roboto) anyhow.
I feel you on the other guys copying it but now a days its seems the only way people can stand tall these days is if they stand on someone else's shoulders.
this would have been un heard of back in the day, but this the day of the Remix, so blame Busta and and Diddy lol!
people these days want instant remixes and bitting of styles not like before where you would wait for, your food to finish in a conventional oven of time, we want it microwaved music quick lmao!
look how long it took them to put out that tribute song for Pimp C! Like a day!
this is good ,,,, like the beat ..... weezy for sheezy haha .,,,,... young berg is not bad himself .... u just need to give ppl chances haha i think he can rise higher than u think in 08 fo sho ....
ma nigg weezy..u dont need that voice ishh lol..but u killed in this song..u came to rescue because berg sound like he doin his first song or sumtin..nuttin..and brisco did decent..his screamin ishh'...so yea fire track..it shood b lilwayne featured..and speakin of that y does lil wayne always come on sum1s track does the most rappin and by far has the best verses and he gets featured..i guess all the songs he does cant fit on that carter 3 thas comin out lol...=]..he does a song like every week..hardest workin rapper..thas y hes the best by far..and he sleeps in the studio..dang how much am i typin..iight im done
i dont feel this shit. i mean the hook was wack (Bitch Please i mean come on.) Weezy on the box thing. Yung Berg is in this for how long? (30 sec? less) and i never heard of brisco. i mean Weezy was the only good one and he wasnt that great on this track at all
~Jaio Dah One~ You aint never heard of Brisco? SAY WHAAAT You need to search his ass he does alot of tracks with weezy, rick ross, and flo rida My favorite prolly bein In The Hood with weezy. And the new one just reales Man of the Year featuring Weezy and Flo-rida
