Lil Wayne - Drop the World

The chorus and Em's intro are both awful but Eminem's FIRE verse is more than enough to warrant this as a banger. Wayne puts in a worthy effort to his lyrics on this one (could he actually be sober) and, overall, the track benefits from it. With a few tweaks to the singing, this could have been a classic.

Good effort from Wayne. I enjoyed his verses and chorus. Most likely cuz of the minimal use of autotune. Also, this is the least rock-esque track so far, so its more comfortable for him. Good verse by Em too. I hope he continues in this direction.

I still think Wayne can make a better rock song. But he still sounded pretty good with the beat (at least nothing to make it sound terrible). Em murdered this. I thought he sounded in sync with the production and his flow and lyrics were top-notch. I'll give it a 4. Eminem raised this to another level.

This is fire. you immediately think "whoa, weezys actually serious for once" and dont get me wrong i like weezy, hes the master of hiphop nowadays, anyway when you hear ems verse you immediately think he outshines weezy, but play it a few more times before you comment. cause weezy vs slim is a BIG issue and truthfully, for me weezy just takes the cake from under ems nose. i miss that flow from weezy, that serious, @*#$! the world tone.

The fact that Wayne got Em to feature on his track is amazing in itself. The track is classic.

First of all, you can't really say Wayne got annihilated on this, becuz there is a "rock" part for wayne, and a rap part for Em, its just not fair

Intro is decent, not feeling the hook at all, feels unnatural like hes trying to sound pissed off. His second verse starts off great with the airey sounding beat but its weezys energy that I really like. This song is just aight for me... I know I'm the only one giving it this rating and I know how long wayne has been trying to get em on a track, but this track of all of them? I actually like eminem's rowdy introduction and his verse is louder and sounds better than waynes.

I wish eminems verse wasnt with a lil wayne so i didnt have to fast forward just to hear eminem. Seriously i dont no why people love lil wayne so much, yeh he gots a few alright songs but this was terrible. Eminem's verse gave me goosebumps, cant wait for relapse 2

Eminem rapping with no accent, Wayne with no auto-tune, both of them on the same track, and a hit is born. Its like they listened to us or something. And shockingly the aggressive rock aspect from Wayne isn’t bad at all.

I won’t say Eminem killed/renegaded Wayne, as Weezy is on his rock-mode and Eminem was set up to rip this ish apart. No one destroyed anybody! they both were great. Em wins on flow though, as he once again proves that don't let the white boy get near any track that you hold dear, rappers. His switch from melody-rap to double-time flow was dope! Solid four stars for this collabo!

I do not know why people are trying to compare these two rappers on this track. Its like comparing Jay-Z to Linkin Park in their callabo! Two separate entities blended together to make one sound! I think Wayne and Em succeded on this track! Best track so far on the Rebirth! All verses were Blazin En Fuego Style! Thank goodness for no Auto-Tune or funny voices! This is just real and raw! This was such a nice song to wake up to...I have to say, on this song weezy and em come equally hard. I think it's just that eminem talks louder and more clear so people hear and understand him easier. It is so refreshing to NOT hear eminem spitting in that lame triumph comic dog voice, for a while i thought he just talked like that now. Best track off of rebirth so far.

It's generally considered bad form to overshadow the main artist when you're the guest feature like this, something Em alludes to on "Forever" when he says "He can make them look like bozos, he's wondering if he should spit this slow, f**k no, go for broke."

To me that was basically Em's announcement that if you put him on your track he wasn't just going to show up and drop a nice flow, he was going to try to destroy every other rapper on a track with him, a mission he accomplished on "Forever", the BET Awards cypher and now this track. Basically, don't f**k with Em right now.

Last time I heard Weezy sound like this was Ghetto Rich. And I LOVED that track. This one is no different. Can't say I like the hook, but DAMN!!! Eminem's verse was more than fire!!! And, being his biggest fan, that's saying a lot. :) All in all, this deserves four stars. Would have been Classic had it not been for that mediocre hook.

Maybe Weezy should've gotten in touch with T-Pain.

@1_O-TYME_1 - No, it really doesn't make sense why a rapper would dumb himself down to make the main artist sound better. You would think that, considering Hip Hop/Rap has pretty much become a competition nowadays, the featured artists would try to destroy the tracks they get featured on. Unfortunately, that's not the case with most rappers, which is why most of the time nowadays you get guest verses that aren't as good as they could be.

I want to make it clear that Lil Wayne isn't my favorite rapper, but he is a good artist, but Eminem completely DESTROYS him on this. Very rarely have i heard a so-so song and the guest artist brings to another level on his sheer talent. The production here is fair enough and to be honest the chorus doesnt bother me at all, i think it fits well here. but this is definatley Eminem's song.

First of all, this song is better than his other. I just say people can't put downsomeone for expanding their repertoire. You grow and become better ass an artist. As for who's best......it's still no question Wayne is the best. Wayne has a set mind of how he will sound on this albulm and he's sticking to it. If you put the last verse on every song you do with good artists, doesn't that allow you to give the best verses. I like Em but I like Marshall Mathers LP Em not the Relapse......and Holy Grove Wayne not Holly Rock Wayne.....so if they both got back to what they do best.........then do a collabo.......History...

I am really looking forward to Rebirth. I heard some songs that were good and others that weren't so good, but I like the fact that he is going off into new territory to be great...
