After listening to just about every rapper and their mother do a freestyle over A Milli, its only fitting that Lil’ Wayne has jumped aboard a remix to his own song, in celebration of his astounding first week sales totals. Dubbing the new version a “free-mix,” because he is giving it away for free, Wayne uses the record to humbly (and at times not-so-humbly) thank all of his loyal fans who purchased a copy of Tha Carter III. In an effort to evoke the same type of mass hysteria that the current release went through upon its lead up, delays and arrival, Wayne reveals his plans to drop a volume four and five of the Carter series. Before those albums hit stores, however, Wayne and T-Pain are planning a collaborative album, tentatively titled He Raps, He Sings.
Oh God!! another Mili mix remix thing now. Its starting to get wack now. I might as well do my own version of Mili now and post it on this site. Its Ok. Too much braging for me.
I heard this a bit earlier. It was definitely straight. It was more like a recognition shout-out track in rap form for Weezy's fans. I got Carter 3, and in my opinion, it's definitely not a classic or as good as Carter II, but I will say it's a solid album with some definte solid tracks. My favorite is "Mr. Carter" and other favorites include "A Milli", "Dr. Carter", "Tie My Hands", "Lollipop Remix" and "Ms. Officer". Wanye on some R&B collabs are pretty official. Here should do more of those. Can't wait for the Lloyd/Wayne Collab album in the works. Wonder if it will be the 2008-2009 version of Best of Both Worlds.
Stop all this "A Milli" crap already.
Honestly, it's annoying with dude yelling a milli for 4 minutes and listening to people blasting it while they cruise all the time
Thats how you know a beat is over used. When dude comes back and raps over his own shit. This is cool. But wait Wezzy and T-pain gotta a collab album, and one with Lloyd as well? Ya'll sure ? Both of them will be fire if done correctly.
T-Pain? I ain't heard about that. I would say that would be trash like "Got Money" on the Carter III. I'm looking forward to the Lloyd collab. That will be classic. Weezy and T.Pain would just be a 70 minutes of trying to figure out who is on the mic in a tornado of voice box madness
Actually jesavail02 there will be more of this Mili thing. there will be a remix mixed with mixy ishi isi for sheezy mili tili kili a bili a trili for treezy eezy for seezy mili mix a lot I like big Milis and I can not lie You other brothers cant mili denie remix thing with a mixer remix remix.
Michael Hannah, those arent the best Milli Freestyles. Check this one out and tell me wat u think. This is the best one in my opinion

sigh sigh, stop it stop it, i havin a mental breakdown, this beat is sooooooooo annoyin, i beggin for rappers not to jump on this track and let it die slow like lil wayne career lol
It will never stop!!! a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili a mili Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!
Wayne comes wit... As for ur comment boss dogg. U said u havin a mental breakdown..well that's because ur a Wayne hater N u don't understand the complexity of wayne's music! It's intersting how u hate on wayne so much, but when he comes out with classic music, u don't rate....Stop Hatin Boss Dogg!!!
It's a banger because out of everybody who made a freestyle off dis beat, No one came as hard as wayne...That just goes 2 show that can't nobody do it like Wayne....
Man I love to see Wayne win....AT RIGHT NOW HE WINNING....With the sales he has solidified his position in the game..He backed up all the remixes he jumped on...sold a million in the first week and these days thats like selling 10 mil...not to mention that dj leaked the whole album a couple of weeks ago...Hi haters....Courtesy of the Best Rapper Alive....And I will admit when I first listened to Tha Carter III(compliments of Best Buy) I was a little dissappointed but after the 2nd time around I plux with it...Monster Album...got some bangers on it and he go retarded on a few songs....FIRE
OMG STOP!
too many remixes and freestyles on this song.
not to mention he "free mixed" his own song.
he's takin a hit, runnin with it and playin it out.
Whoa...I hope you don't mind bossdog, but I'm finna speak for you: IceyJ, I don't think Wayne is super complex. He's definitely hit and miss at times. He makes some solid joints and he makes some trash ones too. That's definitely how I felt about "The Carter III". He had some really great joints on there, and then he had some really horrible bad ones. This particular song, I will say, the beat has became annoying, especially since everyone (including myself, YOUNG SON) has rapped on it. That may be part of the mental breakdown bossdog was speaking on. But overall, Wayne is not a too complex lyricist. I think he's a decent artist with a large fan base that he earned with hard work on getting himself out there. I still would never put him up with the Lupe Fiascos, Kanye Wests, Commons or Jay-Zs. Just not yet at least. So I just wanted to clarify. I don't think a lot of heads out here are Wayne haters. They just want more from the man's ability. I've heard Wayne come sincere and make classics before (i.e: Hustler Musik). We are just waiting for that to happen again.
Boss Dogg, we all entitled to our opinion, but this ain't the first song I heard you just simply hate on...Sounds personal too....Well anyway, who cares, the majority rules!
you know lil wayne is very thoughtful if his fans by making a whole song and he broke a record too. it's kind of good to tho cant but there is too many remix to a millililililiillililli. cassidy and jay z made remix to this people should just leave this song since it already has so many different versions
hate on boss dogg if u want i dont care but i not scared to tell the truth....michaelhannah thanxs 4 speaking for me, i agree wit everything u said(couldnt have said it better), but now i going to speak 4 myself, IceyJ u said lil wayne comes wit classic music, when? the stuff i have been hearin lately has not been classic, the carter 3 was the worst out of the carter series (im not surprised it sold the most bcuz of all the hype), and as far as his complexity, please, lolipop was not complex it was just to sell records and milli jus sucks to me, if lil wayne raps would have a real concept or heart felt lyrics for example listen to the remix of ghetto rich or shot to the heart remix(i felt they were the best verses i heard from wayne in a long time) if he would rap like that all the time i would b the biggest lil wayne fan, but put some of the garbage i been hearin doesnt cut it for me....like always im not hating(but if u called it that fine) but i expect alooooooooot more from someone who has self proclaimed himself as the best rapper alive....any rebuttals lol
I don't care if everybody considers Wayne the best rapper alive. I can't stand his voice so none of his songs will be that super to me. But this is real garbage to me, nothing to listen to! His voice is annoying, like his flow (in this track). The beat is totally weak and that background voice saying A Milli A Milli is something which can hurt my nerves and give me a strong headache! This is one of the worst songs I've ever heard, I can't understand why he keeps on making remixes on this! To me they're all the same: rubbish! I don't care if ya'll jump on me, that's my opinion and I won't change it :P
Forgot: to me the best rapper alive is Nas, I don't like everything he produces, but he his a great lyricist (I looked for lyrics sites to understand better) and his last song, Hero, is super. Maybe Lil' Wayne is also a great lyricist, but when he produces songs like A Milli, my opinion changes
michaelhannah I can't really believe u didn't have respect for me...you have to have respect for every other opinion, whether you like it or not! In every case everyone should have respect for me because I'm super like a cool beat auhauhauh just joking :P
Man, I ain't on u! i'm just sayin..I understand dat Wayne has 2 do better N U right about Wayne's album being over hyhped, but it still was a good album N U know it!! Say what u wan't about wayne but the fact of the matter is, is that wayne is dominating this industry called hip-hop! So like I said before, boss doggg stop hatin on Lil Wayne!!!
Its funny these best "rapper" comments. Reading these none of the guys you said are the best. Besides the ones that did pass away are the only arguments. But there are current rappers you guys have not even said that are better then Nas and Lil Wayne. I wont get into names but thank now.
i love how u think Patty lol.....but Icey J u said u been seeing me hate on alot of lil waynes songs, did u happen to read my article on y lil wayne is dominatin the industry(dont remember what song i did it on), but here a recap, he is killin the market bcuz he saturating the market with is music( he drop like 10 mixtapes a month and jumps on the remix of every song) he is hit and miss like michealhannah said, if any decent rappers put out that many song i would expect for them to shine alittle, u need to put thinks in perspective, for every song that lil wayne has that hot another 49 songs r garbage(1/50)
I think Jay Z has acomplished a lot. Defently more then Lil Wayne. Im not a big fan of Jay Z though but dosent he have more money then any other rap artist. If hes made the most then hes the best. But as for Nas I think hes the same as Lil Wayne. But I think my favorite rappers in Ludacris Kanye West and T.I have also acomplished more then Lil Wayne. Sure Wayne selling a little over a million records in his first week is more albums sold then the other rappers have sold in there first week but he still hasent done more. and I think Eminem with his 70 million albums sold has to be up there to because no other rapper has sold that many albums. And your not gonna see another rapper sell that many albums again when you can easily download music for free or pay a dollar on I Tunes and get the one single song so you dont have to buy the whole album.
School's finally out and I guess I'm back for good! Ah fuck though, all the people comparing and putting Nas on Wayne's level is just insane. This version is weak compared to the other (as in Lil Wayne's, not the five thousand other artists' versions).
We all love Emimem! He is one of the best. But 60 mill of those 70mill are simply because of the fact that my dude was marketed as a WHITE mc. IF he was black he would simply be a dope mc, which in my opinion is all he wants to be anydamn way. Not judged by album sales. I guess we can say Nelly is a great because his sales as well? How bout Soulja boy? Get my drift. Em is one of the greats because of his god givin ability to kill a mic. He sold as much as he did because he is white. Truth is truth!
Yeah your right there BDF44 Eminem being white he probally has greater appeal to a larger base. But I actually kinda like Nelly he is way bettter then Soulja Boy now. Sure Nelly has fallen off a little but still the last couple of singles by him in Whats Your Name and Party People I liked a lot actually even though those songs arent as big as his other songs.
ok I guess most of the people missed the whole point of this "free-mix" It wasn't tryin to make a hit. Jus thankin everyone who supports him. THATS IT! But like wayne said, I'm bein hated by the season's so f*** ya'll hatin for no reason. Everyone that's hatin on this dude is jus mad bc it ain't their fav rapper doin what he doin right now. Aint no one like this dude ever. You can't compare him to other rappers bc nothin he does is like any other rapper. I see some people sayin he jus needs to tell more stories and be more heartfelt. Come on there aint jus one way to do this music. But right no aint nobody do it better PERIOD!
This isnt outstanding but its a good way to get to his audience. He actually took the time to make a(nother) A Milli remix but this ones for the fans. Still congrats on the album. You have to admire this humbleness from a record-selling artist.
this beat is used too much and that a milli a milli a milli getting really annoying, but wayne is fire on this and the original, all the others like ne-yos, chris browns, are just too much, let the beat die and stop over using it
Boss Dogg if you would listen ta Tha Carter III all the way threw you would see that wayne f..ks around on some songs n talks bout money and bitches and then is serious on other songs just like Nas or Hova. "Lolipop" was shity foreal but thats what sells dogg but others like "tie my hands" or "Dontgetit" thats serious shit. It's all an opinion.
yo im kinda gettin tired of this beat shoot me and alot of my friends rap and we used this beat lik thousands of times like this beat should just be like retarded like who didnt use it like yo just retire it lol but i did like this remix didnt really like his album idk who said it but they said it on Got Money wen they said Wayne got the curse of being to good i expected so much more of the album
THAT'S WATS UP! WAYNE IS A MONSTER! iF U HATIN ON WAYNE SO MUCH Y DONT U MAKE A ALBUM THAT SALES 400,000 IN DA FIRST WEEK! OH OH THATS WAT I THOUGHT.. U CANT SO STOP HATIN U DAM FOOLS!
