After listening to just about every rapper and their mother do a freestyle over A Milli, its only fitting that Lil’ Wayne has jumped aboard a remix to his own song, in celebration of his astounding first week sales totals. Dubbing the new version a “free-mix,” because he is giving it away for free, Wayne uses the record to humbly (and at times not-so-humbly) thank all of his loyal fans who purchased a copy of Tha Carter III. In an effort to evoke the same type of mass hysteria that the current release went through upon its lead up, delays and arrival, Wayne reveals his plans to drop a volume four and five of the Carter series. Before those albums hit stores, however, Wayne and T-Pain are planning a collaborative album, tentatively titled He Raps, He Sings.

I heard this a bit earlier. It was definitely straight. It was more like a recognition shout-out track in rap form for Weezy's fans. I got Carter 3, and in my opinion, it's definitely not a classic or as good as Carter II, but I will say it's a solid album with some definte solid tracks. My favorite is "Mr. Carter" and other favorites include "A Milli", "Dr. Carter", "Tie My Hands", "Lollipop Remix" and "Ms. Officer". Wanye on some R&B collabs are pretty official. Here should do more of those. Can't wait for the Lloyd/Wayne Collab album in the works. Wonder if it will be the 2008-2009 version of Best of Both Worlds.

Thats how you know a beat is over used. When dude comes back and raps over his own shit. This is cool. But wait Wezzy and T-pain gotta a collab album, and one with Lloyd as well? Ya'll sure ? Both of them will be fire if done correctly.

T-Pain? I ain't heard about that. I would say that would be trash like "Got Money" on the Carter III. I'm looking forward to the Lloyd collab. That will be classic. Weezy and T.Pain would just be a 70 minutes of trying to figure out who is on the mic in a tornado of voice box madness

Man I love to see Wayne win....AT RIGHT NOW HE WINNING....With the sales he has solidified his position in the game..He backed up all the remixes he jumped on...sold a million in the first week and these days thats like selling 10 mil...not to mention that dj leaked the whole album a couple of weeks ago...Hi haters....Courtesy of the Best Rapper Alive....And I will admit when I first listened to Tha Carter III(compliments of Best Buy) I was a little dissappointed but after the 2nd time around I plux with it...Monster Album...got some bangers on it and he go retarded on a few songs....FIRE

Whoa...I hope you don't mind bossdog, but I'm finna speak for you: IceyJ, I don't think Wayne is super complex. He's definitely hit and miss at times. He makes some solid joints and he makes some trash ones too. That's definitely how I felt about "The Carter III". He had some really great joints on there, and then he had some really horrible bad ones. This particular song, I will say, the beat has became annoying, especially since everyone (including myself, YOUNG SON) has rapped on it. That may be part of the mental breakdown bossdog was speaking on. But overall, Wayne is not a too complex lyricist. I think he's a decent artist with a large fan base that he earned with hard work on getting himself out there. I still would never put him up with the Lupe Fiascos, Kanye Wests, Commons or Jay-Zs. Just not yet at least. So I just wanted to clarify. I don't think a lot of heads out here are Wayne haters. They just want more from the man's ability. I've heard Wayne come sincere and make classics before (i.e: Hustler Musik). We are just waiting for that to happen again.

hate on boss dogg if u want i dont care but i not scared to tell the truth....michaelhannah thanxs 4 speaking for me, i agree wit everything u said(couldnt have said it better), but now i going to speak 4 myself, IceyJ u said lil wayne comes wit classic music, when? the stuff i have been hearin lately has not been classic, the carter 3 was the worst out of the carter series (im not surprised it sold the most bcuz of all the hype), and as far as his complexity, please, lolipop was not complex it was just to sell records and milli jus sucks to me, if lil wayne raps would have a real concept or heart felt lyrics for example listen to the remix of ghetto rich or shot to the heart remix(i felt they were the best verses i heard from wayne in a long time) if he would rap like that all the time i would b the biggest lil wayne fan, but put some of the garbage i been hearin doesnt cut it for me....like always im not hating(but if u called it that fine) but i expect alooooooooot more from someone who has self proclaimed himself as the best rapper alive....any rebuttals lol
