Evidently, rapper Lil’ Scrappy was so embarrassed by his showing last week on DJBooth, he hid inside the very Trash Bag that we featured. But since the calendar has turned to a new week, we decided to let Scrappy do some early spring cleaning and unleash another possible single. On the new ‘stick-with-me’ anthem, Thug It To The Bone, Scrappy hooks up with hook-singing favorite Trey Songz and production ace Kane Beatz for a track that sounds refreshingly anti-Trash Bag. It should be noted that while many listeners will enjoy Songz’ “we gonna ride until the wheels fall off” chorus, the late Static Major had a song of the same title, which clearly was the inspiration behind Thug It To The Bone.
Trey Songz is featured EVERYWHERE right now! He does good on the chorus here. I am not a big Lil Scrappy fan, but he delivers a great flow on this track. This beat makes for GREAT ridin' music. 3.5 Stars from me!
Yo! Trey you need to drop an album--like tomorrow. You are coming up. Lil' Scrappy is doing a good job expressing his feelings on this track. A "romantic thug" track right here.
Hopefully Scrappy can resurrect his career after his last album. I liked the Money in the Bank remix and Livin In The Projects...but obviously nobody else did since he didn't sell shit. This song's tight though.
"Born 2 Live, Bred to Die" was slept on. Lil' Scrappy is an underrated artist in my opinion. This song is a good example that he isn't all about his "Money in da Bank."
Wooh! Heres another single for Scrappy, his flow is FIREEE on here, and the hook with Songz makes it even more better with the piano, this song is HOTTTTT, will sound great with my 2 15's =D
It’s almost shady to feature Trey Songz on your song… I mean, how can one resist his vocals?! Lil Scrappy sounds like a more understandable version of Plies, the flow was just what the beat requires. Kane Beatz did an amazing job on Chamillionaire’s Ultimate Victory so I could only expect quality from him and this piano based beat is top notch throughout the whole song (by the way, it’s a SHAME Ultimate Victrory didn’t even go Gold!!! really feel sorry for hard working guys like Cham :s)! 4*
i actually heard ride till the wheels fall off by static major yesterday n liked it, so of course i like this as well. its lyk everybody is tryin to make a thug love sorta song since "Shawty" (which was my favorite song for idk how long) n dis one iz better than alot i've heard. 4starz
DIS IS A REALLY GOOD SONG....I REALLY STARTED FEELING SCRAPPY AFTER DAT ''LIVIN IN DA PROJECT'' HE DID WITH 2PAC ON DA HOOK...DIS HERE IS A GOOD SONG ESPECIALLY WIT T.SONGS ON IT...
I think this song is one of Scrappy's best. I like the softer background and I think Scrappy made it work. Trey Songz also put together a solid chorus.
I like this... Lil Scappy has a lil mixture of 50 cent 21 questions and yo gotti I been thinking bout...... and of course trey songz sounds great everytime
