The Lil’ Mama bandwagon is probably going to get a bit more crowded after Jive Records decided to confirm that the second single off her upcoming album, Voice of the Young People, will be Tour Bus (G-Slide). Using the famous melody from “The Wheels On The Bus,” Lil’ Mama looks to duplicate the success that St. Louis rapper Jibbs had, after he successfully used the childhood song “Do Your Ears Hand Low?” for the smash hit, Chain Hang Low. Although her initial offering, Lip Gloss, wasn’t received well among the older hip hop crowd, the focus no doubt is to appeal to the music purchasing youth. With Tour Bus (G-Slide) now in line to do big things at radio and TV, Lil’ Mama might have to get this bus going before anyone else jumps on.
