While Remy Ma is starting her prison bid and Foxy Brown was just recently released from hers, fellow female MC Lil’ Kim is gearing up to release a new album. Not heard from on a mainstream music tip since her September ’05 album, The Naked Truth, the Queen Bee has leaked the first potential track off her forthcoming, currently-untitled LP. Respirator, which encompasses Kim’s infamous sex appeal, that damned voice-box effect and some Storch-esque Indian drums, sounds more like an experimental voyage than a radio-ready smash. Regardless, once this makes its rounds in the music game, Kim will likely figure out whether or not her career is on life support.
i like lil kim alot but the chorus sucks and the beat is un-inspired she shoulda did her little spanglish flow on her, use the voicebox a little less, she shoulda had the dream do the chorus
Its cool from the beggining the the beat tight but its not the best because its familar to slow needs to be faster the words honest the lyrics you gotta give it to cuz "everybody need a Lil Kim " she done been through alot but she aint the best and with competition she aint neva been but she still Queen Bee

DJ Z is right about this being more of an experimental song than a ready-for-radio song. I don't want to give this a low rating because I like Lil' Kim, but this was an atrocious song; in any case, welcome back from your mini hiatus LK.
this is trash. I love ya kim. the pic is nice. But this beat is horrible. the lyrics are good, but the voice box is terrible for your voice, and this song flat out sucks. This Pic however is nice.
I just heard this with my earphones... it did hurt my ears! I aint kidding! What's it with that noise like interference when the cell phone is ringing close to a sound system?! Horrible!

Im not feelin' this,I think Lil Kim couldve did MORE better than this,and with the voice box thing I have to agree with Mayne,T-Pain IS the only one that sounds good with it because he started using It wayyy before anyone else and actually sounded great!I'm not even a fan of Lil Kim and the all the other female rappers but,Trina and Khia,they the ones who are on the female rap game right now!
This is average, the only thing I like it's the beat but it's not enough to make this song better than 2 stars...the voice box thing is obviously horrible
