As an alumnus of the celebrated Screwed Up Click, rapper Lil’ Keke knows that his fans have been anticipating his much-delayed Swishahouse debut, Loved By Few, Hated By Many, for roughly two years. Planning for the album to finally be heard later this year, Don Ke has scooped up fellow Houstonians, Slim Thug and Paul Wall, for a tribute to everyone making Money In Tha City (whether legally or illegally). With Baton Rouge native Tre Virdure‘s hook vocals and Mr. Lee‘s street-certified production, Money In Tha City has the makings of yet another underground street anthem in the veins of Chunk Up The Deuce and Ima G. Loved By Few, Hated By Many is currently scheduled for release this September.
Man, whenever a rapper gets Huston rappers, it's always Slim, Paul, and Mike Jones! They're forgetting Chamillionaire, the best of all. Still a nice song though.
Not a fan of Houston rap at all, never have been I don't know why. (maybe w the exception of Lil Flip). This song is weak to me, just because I don't like any of the rappers. Sorry, had to get out my hater card for this one...don't hate on me!
h-town teel i die cb126405 u need learn your histroy of
houston bro ghetto boys ugk dj screw come on u just hater
mocity my hood come f with me u diggg.
It's not about learning the history of Texas hip-hop... it's about listening to GOOD Texas hip-hop. Because let's be real here... for every top notch Houston MC, there is 10 craptastic ones. And as for Keke... dude needs to put this album out, I am sick of all the hype. I wanna hear it! Shouts out to the big homie, T. Farris!
I'm feeling this, it's catchy! I'm not particularly mad for any of the rappers of this song, but I like the production (beat + music) so it's in rotation to me. It has almost a techno feel, it could become famous in Europe (of course it never will coz they're not Timbaland or 50 Cent).
I forgot: I'm sooooo fed up of lyrics about money, I'm thinking to completely ignore new songs about money. Money helps, but to talk only about it it's an exaggeration to me
Keke is one of my favorites from Texas. He doesn't get the shine he deserves. Slim Thug came wit it on here to. Paul Wall used to be good back in the day but for the last 5 years he's been garbage and this is no exception. Mr Lee was on point with the production
DIS iz STREEET! DAMN, I LUV DIS...nice beat and real-e gud rap-n...i think DIS iz sick....and who carez if they talk about money- money iz important....@ least they aint put-n thoughtz of sex in teenagerz headz. DIS iz a banga 4sho!!!
It's decent. Production is ok. The hook is kinda tight. None of the rappers really shine on this track, but none of them disappoint either. In rotation.
i fell it ima always get money and thats whats always on my mind.... so dont blame em but i dont like the hook so its in rotation could of been a banger thow.
