In November of 2006, Mr. Capone-E and Lil’ Flip hooked up for the underground album, Connected. Fourteen months later, the two Texas MCs have hooked up once again, this time for the appropriately titled sequel, Still Connected. The album, which was released earlier this week through Hi Power/Koch Distribution, features seventeen totally-Texas tracks, including the Mr. Criminal collaboration, Still In My Drop Top Chevy. While the recycled topics of paint jobs, gigantic rims and tinted windows does not create groundbreaking music, there is no denying that with a nice set of JBL’s or Pioneer’s, this joint might actually bump as hard as it was intended to.
im probably bias because im a huge Lil Flip fan, but this song is bangin! I've been waiting to hear some more new flip for a while now! flip has a lot of charisma in his music, he doesnt have the greatest flow and can be too slow somethimes, but he is one of the few who can pull it of very well
Maybe I'm still half asleep this morning, but I wasn't feelin' this song at all. The hook reminded me of "Hip Hop Saved My Life" by Lupe Fiasco, when he's talkin' about "Stack Dat Cheese"

This is ok, I guess it would get a spin or 2. I would put it on a mix to bang in the car as well. Hope he gets some production from Mr. Lee, Mr. Rogers, or three 6 like he did in the past.

Hell yea. This is the shit right here. Finally new material from Flip. I think he's one of the most entertaining rappers. Sure he raps about the same old shit all the time but it's always fun to listen to. When can we see a new Lil Flip album?
