With his debut album, Confusion, scheduled for release in the first quarter of ‘09, Inglewood native LeMarvin is ready to give listeners nationwide a lesson on how things are done around his way.  On lead single Around My Way, the R&B singer describes your average day in Californ-i-a: cruising the sunny streets with speakers on blast, spitting game to beautiful women, sipping gin and juice, and dodging the attention of the city police force.  Left Coast superstar The Game is along for the ride, adding a generous dash of gangsta attitude to the mix, and the laid-back (yet certifiably street) production by Trackmasters Entertainment‘s Frequency makes Around My Way sound tougher than your average R&B record.  For those of us who can’t afford to drop everything and move out west, this sunny-sounding cut is the perfect soundtrack to daydreams of life in warmer climes.

LOVE the California Love sample! Wow, I never imagined what that song would sound like with an R&B twist. And Game spitting over this kind of track is insane! That was the longest 2 minutes of my life waiting for his verse to come in, but not in a bad way because LeMarvin killed it!

I think he will get big off of this song, but I'd like to hear him singing over something OTHER than a sample of arguably the greatest California anthem of all time.

PS this track will be MAD slept on tonight because it doesn't say "Featuring The Game" on the homepage. LOL, well good, because people need to check out these up and comers more and not listen to the track just because of a well known artist.

Wow! What a way for LeMarvin (repping Inglewood,California) to make his introduction into the industry using argueably the most known west-side anthem. And who better to feature on the track than the current west-coast KING. Both Lemarvin and Game went tore it up! Hope it gets radio play....

Ay yo...this guy is not new. I had this track "Thug Like Me" in rotation last winter. Dude is a pretty good song maker and his tracks sounds a little more creative than most R&B out. I love the sample. Game came pretty crispy too. I can definitely through this in rotation.

I didn't think so at the beginning but I must say the California beat sounds great here. It's an overall cool song, I just have to look for the lyrics!

Ok. So, the Cali Love beat and the R&B vocals didn't do it for me. Don't get me wrong, the production was done very well. and LaMarvin, vocally has it together. I even liked the Game on this track. His part was probably my fav. I think I just think that rap lyrics do this beat more justice than anything else.

Just igght.
