A few weeks ago, DJ Booth premiered Jive signee Lee Carr‘s buzz track Never Let U Go. Shortly after his signing, however, Lee got ahold of big-name singer/songwriter The-Dream to assist with a new ode to fine females and their footwear fashion, Stiletto. Although The-Dream has written plenty of songs for other artists, Stiletto stands out because of its descriptive lyrics (along with Los‘ upbeat production), making it sound like something Mr. Nash could have recorded for his own debut album, Love/Hate. Lee’s debut album, In The Third Lane, is set for release later this year; something tells us Stiletto will help that date come sooner instead of later.
Production sound effects are good. I dig that. Lee's voice is pretty smooth. I can remember the last single. I think I liked it a bit and was waiting for someone better from here. Here it is. Definitely.
Lee Carr he gotta come a lil bit harder chorus a lil bit too repeatative for me the beat is hot he got a good voice so he can come harder i kno. i think he just getting a lil bit to comftable maybe cuz this isnt the lee carr i kno all aroudn good production and track tho
first off, this is just a sped-up version of Purple Kisses off The Dream's album. this dude has a good voice, strong, not sure about his range but wanna hear more from him. however this song just won't cut it
DJJ, I was thinking it sounded a little more like "Fast Cars" mixed with "Purple Kisses." Anyway you cut it up... he has some talented folks working behind him and a major label who has done wonders for talented R&B singers (Chris Brown, Usher).
Damn... I'm a stiletto fiend!....this makes me feel good know'n some one actually like chicks with stilettos in a society where most chicks rock kicks on a daily basis... Def. rock'n this in the whip... lol
Ok I have no idea who dis is but da title got my attention, cuz im a stiletto type of girl. Ok...now to rate this...Im agreein wit donjonjon. Dis does sound jus like a faster version of purple kisses by The Dream. Da songs not bad. It's in rotation
he sounds too much like chris brown wit a lil hit of the dream lol but its the kinda song girls r gonna love, and if the girls like it, ima play it out my house ;P so it gets a 3 out 5 for me
I love this song. This sound like something i would have for a ring tone. Lee is doing a great job so far, hope he keeps it up. He got a nice voice too.
Dont get me wrong i LOVE the song, but it sounds like hes just mimicking the dream on this track. If he wants to make it in this business he needs to get his own image
