A common trend in R&B has been to follow an upbeat single with a deeper, more intense ballad (Usher‘s Love in this Club and Moving Mountains, Day26‘s Got Me Going and Since You’ve Been Gone). Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the newest member of this club: Lee Carr. Following the peppy Stilettos, Lee returns with a song everyone (regardless of shoe preference) can relate to. Happy to be with his woman, Carr has settled into the relationship so well that if she were to leave, he might not be able to Breathe. As the writer and co-producer of the track, Carr’s impact is a breath of fresh air that sooner or later will be felt at radio. His self-titled debut album, courtesy of Jive Records, does not currently have a set release date.
im not going to deny he can sing.. because he OBVIOUSLY can.. as far as me liking this song.. maybe because im sleepy, this song is making it worse.. its boring.. but production is hot too..
I like this song I've had it for a little while now. Lee Carr has really good vocals and always sings on well produced tracks. This is worth putting into rotation.
This is the best song that I have heard from Lee Carr in 2 years. For anyone saying that its "old"... please stop before I get up on top of my soap box.
Well, not bad at all for a guy I didn’t know! Production is catchy as hell, that background piano caught me from the beginning and went throughout the song beautifully! Vocals are on point and bear out the banger effect the production sets off. Nice overall melody. Agree with the Mario comparison, and that says a lot cuz Mario is above all the young R&B cats (it includes Chris Brown).
Within the first 10 seconds, the name Mario popped into my heat (like most of my fellow booth-ers) Dude def got some nice pipes but he's gonna have to do something different to differantiate himself from cats like Mario and C. Breezy...I love ballads but it was missing that special lil something to make me really really enjoy this
Dude can sing, and he does remind me of Mario alot, but he still doesnt compare to anything like Mario, Mario is one of my favorite singers of all time, but I think Carr has the potential to have the publicity, and the hits that Mario has had, Guy can sing, This is the first for me, but ill do some research when i get home, Only thing that SUCKS is that another great artist with alot of potential, is on JIVE!! Hold you "Breath" everyone, you might be waitin a while to cop this album..
this is hot...lee carr can sing. and ive heard sum other songs frm him that were good as well, besides stilletos. i love the beat on this one. but yeah like DJ Z said, i also think its the best one ive heard from him.
This could be a song by Ne-Yo, by Mario, by any other r&b singer..it's typical! But I must say I hardly know slow r&b ballads with bad productions and bad singers....this kind of songs rarely fail! Lee Carr's Breathe is an example: excellent production, smooth and sweet, excellent voice and singing skills! Banger!
This is one of those ballads every teenage girl will love LOL I really like his voice tho. This song could easily hit the charts too. Hope to hear it soon.
I managed to get a hold of this song almost 2 months ago. I wouldn't classify it as old though! Really good track, his vocals shine and the lyrics are nice and simple. The chorus is the strongest part, anyone can sing along to it. Good effort!
NONE OF YALL ARE LYiNNN THiS DUDE GOOTTTT ONE HELLLLUVVAA GOOD VOiCE BETTER THAN CHRiS BROWN AND USHER.... A-MAZE-iNG! THiS SONG iS SOOOOOOO CUTE i LOVE iT ALREADY!
