Ladies and gentlemen, meet Your Future Favorite Rapper. Though the title of Laws’ first feature oozes confidence, the Spring Hill, Florida, rapper wasn’t always so self-assured – in fact, self-doubt along with difficult life circumstances almost derailed his dreams entirely. On this new cut, the title track of his latest mixtape, the up-and-comer recounts his musical journey’s every twist and turn, backed by heavyweight production trio J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League‘s subdued synth-choral boardwork. Describing his father’s issues with alcoholism, his mother’s reaction to his decision to drop out of school, his early struggles in the rap game, the fateful call that resulted into his signing with J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League/Asylum/Warner Bros, and quite a bit more, Laws packs a lot of plot and detail into this cut’s hookless, less-than-three minute running time; by the time it’s finished, the artist almost feels like an old friend. The question, however, remains: does Laws have the potential to become one of your all-time faves? Not quite my new favorite rapper. Luda is in no danger of falling out. However, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League may just be my future favorite producers. Everything they put out is stellar.
Lyrically, Laws came strong on this but I'd have to hear a full offering from him before I can judge. |

Laws has a ways to go to becoming my FAVORITE rapper, but what a great (and fitting) start. Its hard for any artist to take a J.U.S.T.I.C.E League beat and make it their own. Laws does just that here.

You can't name your song "Your Future Favorite Rapper" and not have everyone talk about how good you really are. With that said, after the lyrical complexity of this track Laws at the very least has a fighting chance of becoming my future favorite rapper. Dope potential.

Whoa! This dude is NASTY! I wasn't expecting to hear a new dude this nice. The flow is on-point, the lyrics are right and the production is CRAZY. I don't give out many 5-star ratings, but this one just might be a classic...

Production is decent but I can see this a bit too repetitive... although I do really like this He voice gets very boring if you know what I mean. Overall though this receives positive feedback but nothing TOO great.
