In most industry circles, the name “La La” is synonymous with two people; former MTV VJ/Carmelo Anthony fiancée La La, or Lyfe Jennings‘s late protégé and S.E.X. collaborator, La La.  Hoping to change things around, LaLa, the Latina singer from L.A., is making her debut with the all-too-frequent story of a female who’s Sprung On A Thug.  Rapper The Game comes strong with two verses, showing exactly how a true gangsta supports his leading lady, and all he wants in return is for her to “rep Cali right when they call for you.”  With producer Fingazz’ soft, heart-pounding beat, Sprung On A Thug is a jam that both sexes might enjoy equally.  LaLa’s debut, Luv & Respect, is currently set to drop on August 19.

A smooth beat. Her voice is appealing but not spectacular. The game rhyme fits the mood of the track. Definitely a chick song.
