L Jaye - Yeah Yeah [Premiere]
Featuring: Jeff Chery
Producer: Duke WIlliams
Album: L Jaye EP
Label: Rush World Inc.
Have roughly a gazillion artists already written songs about the arousing effects of watching shawtys get low? Yeah. Do rising R&B star L. Jaye and frequent collaborator Jeff Chery have what it takes to craft one that stands out from the pack? Well… Yeah. If the former artist’s latest EP leak (making its world premiere right here in the Booth!) is any indication, they most definitely do. Here, producer Duke Williams’ sugary synths and piano arpeggios set a radio-ready mood as the ATL representative ogles a female clubgoer whose dance moves are like poetry in motion. Re-returning the favor from his own last feature, Gotta Make It (the two also appeared together on Jaye’s Booth debut, Recession), the rapper formerly known as Pay$oz takes center stage on the back end, comparing to woman in question to a (sexy?) seizure victim and dropping about a dozen musical allusions for good measure. Like what you’re hearing? Fans can find this pop-appealing joint and much more on L. Jaye’s forthcoming self-titled EP, set to hit stores and online retailers sometime this winter.

I usually offer up a PSA when it comes to songs like "Yeah Yeah." And for good measure, just like Richard, I will have some fun with it.
Is this song catchy? Yeah. Is this song radio-ready? Yeah. Is this song just like hundreds of others, most of which rule the airwaves and are actually not deserving of such airtime... Yeah, again. But I can't hate; I'll just feature and regulate. |

Love this song, it is surely catchy. Between the musical talent of this singer L Jaye and the lyrical talent of Jeff Chery this is for sure a record to spin for radio and the club. Keep up the good work.

duke williams really was on fire with this beat i reckon, fused with l jaye's voice nicely. jeff chery has been moving quickly into the realm of big names and his collabo with k sparks will only further his career, i can see big things for him.

Sounds like something that would come out of the JR Rotem camp, and in terms of radio play, that's not a bad thing. It's nothing incredible, Jaye's voice is decent, but it's catchy.
As long as we're here, why are rappers/singers so interested in having sex with strippers? Strippers are for looking, not touching. |

1st of all, 5 stars for the song art or watever u call it. 2nd, i honestly dont see anything special bout this. the only thing really noticable and worth mentioning is Jeff Chery's verse. the rest is pretty avg. nothin standout bout the lyrics, vocals or chorus. im not sold on this L Jaye guy.
