Though Tha Dogg Pound has been busy lately, releasing a 4/20-themed mixtape and cutting a promo single with Snoop, crew member Kurupt hasn’t stepped into the Booth with a fresh solo record since March 2010’s All in Time. Today, the emcee breaks his silence with Let Off, a new promo single which finds him sharing the mic with fellow Left Coast reppers Terrace Martin (who also produces the joint), Ill Camille and Jay Rock. It’s currently unknown whether Kurupt has any forthcoming solo projects in the works, but fans can keep their browsers locked to the DJBooth for further news and tunes.

This is a great track. Nice lyrics and flows by all parties involved. Sick beat by Terrance Martin too. I can hear this bumpin out the speakers of the 6 right now... BANGER!

The production from Martin is the stand out element on display here. I thought all of the verses were on the same, bordering on bland level.
