Many of hip-hop’s recent hits are either introspective meditations on tough times or motivational records urging listeners to rise above hardships and build a better future. Life! A Lesson to Learn, the newly-released lead single off Krayzie Bone‘s impending solo release, is, well, both—producer Position fills the record with downbeat, tension-fraught ambience (as well as providing hook and backing vocals), while the Bone brother reflects on his past trials and tribulations, the chaos that currently reigns in the music game and beyond, and the potential for a brighter tomorrow; the result is a complex cut with a unique, haunting sound, in which the pervasive darkness makes the possibility of redemption seem all the more real. Though the newly-reunited Bone Thugs and their forthcoming Uni-5 LP are, understandably, creating a massive buzz, fans shouldn’t sleep on Krayzie’s forthcoming Just One More Hit, set to drop March 24th via Thug Line/RBC Records.

some parts of the beat is coo to me, but overall i dont like it too much. and of course his krayzie flow is coo. for a second i thought that was chamillionaire on the hook! haha. but this song is ok.

Damn! The bones thugs make like an album a year EACH! They just keep it going! But I am really bouncin' to this in my couch right now! This is tight! Nice flow, cool message, and Krayzie still has the smooth swagger he is known for. DEFINITELY A DJ BLAZE CERTIFIED BANGER!

This is a real cool song. Krayzie has always been my favorite Thug cuz of his lower-pitched, on point vocals. This doesn't disappoint, even tho he's singin more than rappin or a combo. The production fits the mood and Krayzie's flow well. The hook fits the mood as well, but its just OK.

Krayzie is musically harmonizing and delivers a great message. He’s really gifted for coming with such pleasant rap/singing. This is the kind of songs that get you fans! Richard said it best: unique and haunting! |

This is a good look for a first single. That piano laced production is fire, and the tempo is right on point with Krayzie's flow. This can definitely go into the playlist of those old Bone songs you still put on 10 years later.

you just can't beat when Kyzie bone really sits down and writes. This is alot like a "paper paper" part 2, but his flow isneither overly aggressive, and it isnt as passive as it has been on some of his other stuff. Just a great track!
