There’s nothing like a brush with death to clue you into how small and insignificant you, and your actions, are in the grand scheme of things. Just ask Numonics, who came up with the chords to EP title track Never Enough while in the hospital, recovering from what he believed at the time to be a potentially fatal heart attack. The final world premiere off the South Floridian beatsmith’s forthcoming, Booth-sponsored street release with emcee Knowledge Medina, this bracing cut finds the underground rhymesayer taking lyrical inspiration from his behind-the-boards partner’s existential crisis. Over Numonics’ moody, rock-informed arrangement, Medina vividly evokes the feeling of helplessness in the face of human finitude: “...to only find you’re slowly dying and won’t get your wishes / Seems like the sh*t you did is just insufficient.” Like a true existentialist, however, he doesn’t despair but rather recommits himself to the grind, resolving to make the most of every second he’s got left.  Listening to this record without knowing the full back story behind it (I urge you to read the blurb above) is like jumping into the middle of a great, juicy conversation without knowing the basis for which it began. Numonics once again delivers on the production end, allowing Medina to shine through with his cathartic bars.

Really hungry flow by Knowledge Medina on this track. I like the lyrics and the message...Good chorus and cool guitar-laced beat by Numonics. Reminds me of some Phil Collins chill song. BANGER!

This song shows just how vulnerable musicians are. No matter what, there IS always someone who tells you "it's never enough". Numonics comes through with yet a more experimental side to his production infusing jam band ballad soundings with hip hop flair. I enjoy this track.

I only rate music I truly love. No point hating on the rest. That being said: This is some of the dopest, most lyrical, hungry HipHop going hard. Great transition from Battle Rapper to MC definitely gonna keep an eye on Medina
