Friends since grade school, rappers Hollow Tip and Metro are living out a dream.  After signing a joint deal between independent label Voicez Music Group and Def Jam, the duo, known collectively as Kinfolk, is looking to make a name of themselves in 2008.  Originally released in 2007, their single Don’t Go To Work has been floating around cyberspace since last August.  However, since the fella’s first proclaimed that work only comes to them (which is actually hard to believe), the song has been updated with a guest verse from the one and only Snoop Dogg.  Their inclusion on the Def Jam artist roster follows the label’s recent infatuation with Southern talent (Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Rocko); but will they enjoy the same success?

I like this beat and the chorus is kinda cool. This is a decent head banger on the way to work in the wip! It sounds like Snoop was made for this beat right here. He does the best on here.

I wonder if the first member of kinfok recorded this album while he had laryngitis. He sounds thirsty; he needs some water. Snoop to the rescue. Beat is solid.

Better then expected damm. Kinfolk one to look out for, one of em sounds like gorilla zoe but lyrically and their voices are unique and not cookie cutter @*#$! like lots of southern artists (no disrespect, love southern rappers, but sick of cookie cuttter radio hits) snoop dogg killed it - whats new? hah

DJ Z: I don't think you can expect them to have the same success as Jeezy or Ricky Ross, but then again not too many people can. They never really caught on after their last single (I forget the name if that tells ya anything, but it had a YoungBloodz sample). I do like this song, but I don't think its going to get them too far. I hate to say it, but maybe if Snoop came a little harder, or it had another feature artist (like Jeezy or Ross), it would go further. You are still the man though Snoop! haha

this is song is weak. the only part that was good was the beat, which was annoying me because it sounded so familiar. go listen to bow wow Fresh azimiz. almost the same beat with a few alterations and an occassional high hat... snoop was ok, not his best
