If you ask anyone in America who grew up in the city where they’re from, they’ll probably include the side they represent along with their answer. Chicago’s North and South sides are very different from one another, as are each of the four directional areas of Atlanta. On his new song, 2 Sides, rapper Killer Mike discusses grown folk who claim to represent more than one side of their city. And in case you haven’t been following along, the act of dual representation is a no-no. Set to appear on the June 17 release of his new album, Pledge Allegiance To The Grind 2, 2 Sides also features Mike’s A-Town neighbor, Shawty Lo (who–thankfully–only appears on the song’s hook).
yeah this song surprised me i quite like it killer mike gotta killa flow, gud thing keeping shawty lo on the hook tho he suits it quite good,2 sides gets a 4 star 4sho..
yeah i had got this song some days ago off another site..
this song is fire, i dont ever recall me even liking killa mike.
the hook is coo, he didnt give shawty lo too many lines, otherwise he would've made the song horrible.
but killa killed with his delivery, so this song is most definitely a banger.
Awesome production on the track, who is the producer? Anyway, Killa Mike ripped this track. Shawty Lo only says one line, which I thought went well with the hook and the rest of the song.
WELL GOT DAMN!!!...must be two sides!!!...lol...and for those that dont kno...they dissin T.I....but this a solid song...and i actually like tha "cassette" sound in tha bacc ground...it makes this one more original...straight banger...~
This beat is pretty cool right here! I like the beat and his flow is right on-target with the beat. Good flow from Killer Mike! This is Hard fight music right here!
Liked this track and was glad that shawty lo was only on the hook but I do think that he could of ripped this beat tho his voice matches the beat well.Killer does it all by his self and it works for me.
this is hot man, and I like the hook dude. killer mikes akshon reakshon (or whatever it was called) with bun b and TI was an instant classic, go listen to that song if u havnt already.
Southern Funeral music! Killa Mike has always been solid! But Shawty Lo... I can't stand that dude! Forgive me 4 my moment of hate but what can I say, he's from D4L who to me are equivalent to Soulja Boy! Maybe worse cause soulja did give me yahhh!! smh Anyway this is a decent track and SL didn't have a verse so we're all spared the pain of another "Lets get get get it" verse!
Sheading some light on the story on this track. Shawty Lo has called out TI AKA TIP for not really being from ATLANTA, for a good reason HE ISN'T. The hook is a sublimal slap in his face(TI). Lyrics "Two people running around here claiming my city," "Said you from the westside, well Gdamn must be two sides." LOL if you from here you laugh everytime you hear the hook. I guess this track was only for the natives. TI has a answer song for this as well.
