Despite what you may have read in The Secret, not every kind of success can be achieved simply by thinking positive and acting the part—i.e. throwing cash around like you’re a millionaire is mathematically guaranteed to make you poorer, not richer.  In more subjective matters like attractiveness and artistic inspiration, though, attitude and confidence are absolutely key.  On the lead single off their Land of Make Believe LP, Chi-town duo Kidz in the Hall give an easy-to-understand example of how imagination can influence reality: if you feel like you look good, you’ll be Flickin’ (that is, photo-ready) all the time. The mind-over-matter concept might be a little heady, but the execution is all about having fun; Naledge packs the track with all the laid-back lyrical stunting fans could ask for, and DJ Double O backs him up with a sparse, synth-driven instrumental topped off with catchy chopped-n-screwed flourishes.  KitH devotees are sure to find plenty more head-bobbing beats and thought-provoking concepts on the hipster-hop duo’s third album, out Oct. 13th via Duck Down Records.

Yuppp, Kidz are picking up right where they left off. Heard this earlier, and I love what they are doing with this new record. They haven't skipped a beat, and are staying right in between underground and mainstream where I feel they shine brightest. This record means a lot to me as someone who has followed them from the very beginning, and I'm loving this new material as well as their growth. Love it!

As far as I am concerned, these fellas are the most underrated duo in the industry. Period. Bar None.

Hopefully, the "Land of Make Believe" will turn some casual listeners into actual believers.

@that1kid13 - I get what you're saying with the hook. IMO, still couldn't take away from the bars from the Cool Kids and the production from OO. Nasty.

The production impresses , but doesn't quite get the head nodding as much as their past joints do but the
hook compensates, one that grows as the song goes ...

I like the KITH too, but this is rocking me to sleep. They are the highlight of the song. Not feeling the beat at all.
