The 246th entry in our Exclusive Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Kidd Kidd, the New Orleans hopeful recently heard rhyming alongside Lil Wayne on She Bad. On his brand new, exclusive Off the Richter Scale freestyle, the DreamBig Ventures/Reallionaire/The Orchard emcee flows over original boardwork by Nature Boi. Kidd Kidd is currently busy promoting his latest full-length, The Reallionaire, released May 3, and available now online.

I know plenty (a handful) of our Dirty South-hating members won't have very many nice things to say about this Kidd Kidd freestyle, but please take it from me - the Kidd (put intended) can spit. In fact, his breathe control on this freestyle proves a) he actually spit it as a freestyle, b) and he can actually spit. In the hands of an emcee with more powerful vocals (deeper voice), this production would have been monstrous.

This is something I have never heard of. I was really digging the beginning of it but then the feeling of the song died slowly to me. Great effort though!

The problem is, when you rap like this, it's not very hard to freestyle off the top. I love southern rap, but this guy hasn't showed me he can "spit" as of yet.

1st time for KK. To me the instrumental outshined him, not that he did a bad job, just sounded like a continuous hailstorm with no change.

I generally try to give the benefit of the doubt on freestyles, because its unwritten and unpolished but I cant say I approve of this at all. The beat is nice, but Kidd Kidd doesn't shine in any way. His voice is kind of annoying and his lyrics aren't clever. His voice along with the chaotic beat, make it this track too messy and sloppy for me to enjoy.

Yo, Nature Boi's production goes ham. I was introduced to Kidd Kidd on "She Bad" and I liked him on there so Imma gon' head and give him a 4.5/5... the beat really helped this rating though.
