After starting his career by producing for hometown duo, Dirty, back in ‘01, Montgomery, Alabama native Khao has since gone on to craft beats for T.I. (Why You Wanna), R. Kelly (Double Up), and Snoop Dogg (Whateva U Do). Taking the oft-tread path of the producer who becomes an MC, Khao is ready to step out and say, “Hello World.” And while many similar efforts have been unsuccessful, Khao quickly proves he is swag-heavy in front of and behind the mixing boards. We advise listeners not to judge Hello World based on the sound coming from their computer speakers; there’s a reason most of the stuntin’ mentioned in Khao’s raps takes place in the whip. His debut album, Patience, Silence, Consistency, is set to drop later this summer.
I think this is the new trend these days: the tri-factor (producer/songwriter/singer or rapper). He should of sold this beat to Nas or T.I. they could of done some damage to this track.
this beat is vicious he hurtin with with this one, but he is weak as a artist stick to producing the beats that keep bangin i give the beat a 4 and wont rate the lyrics cause they stink
What a pity! Hearing the beginning it seemed to be a real banger...but it disappointed me! Yeah the beat is amazing, the background music too, but I don't like his flow and he ruined a potential banger :(
I wish he would've given this beat to T.I. or Snoop Dogg. Khao doesn't impress me much as a rapper, at least not with this song. Props for doing all of the work on the track though.
I'll give it 3 stars for production. Lyrics are weak tho....Not to hate, but why do producers think that they can be all around artists? True, some can do this but not all.
The things about music is that producers ARE artists in their own right. The problem, though, is that most producers feel the only way to get recognized for their talents is to eventually put themselves over their own production. Khao has done too much for this to offset his successes.
"We advise listeners not to judge Hello World based on the sound coming from their computer speakers" -djbooth ....
So ture!! .... the beat is crazy and it in rot.
im wondin how his other sutff sounds..... a producer becomein a mc .... should be intrestin .... good flow .... hellow world
Finally we hear a song were the artist is not celebrating the distribution of drugs. The beat is off the chain. I did not know he could rapp like that. I don't know if any one else can see it but I see a potential total package. I think HELLO WORLD was just sayin' Hi to you haters first any way. He will stick to producing and writing, you haters can stick to being critics, unfortunately there is no money in that. I will be a fan before a hater. Or can you be both?
It is sad how people of todays society prejudge. Just cause Khao was a producer before an artist (in the limelight) doesn't mean he isn't capable. If you actually take the time to listen and learn about Khao you would find out that he was actually a lyrist before a producer. So everyone's arguement that producer can't be all around artists is wack and squashed. What is everyones problem with this track...is it that it's clean; not speaking on drugs and violence? Khao is creatin' a movement!!! Get with it or get lost!!! Everything about this track is CRACK!!!! The beat is bananas and the lyrics are on a positive note...I can't speak for all of you haters out there but as for me I am with this movement...Khao is Gettin' It
I declare!!! It's so uplifting to hear someone spit on a track and not waste a hot beat on some wack dance hit or supporting drug trafficing...keep doin' what you do...I am lookin' forward to hearing your Mix tape "Homecoming"
LimeLight was my @*#$!! So 4 that I'll Listen... Ok the beat is off the chain! khao is average as a MC. This sounds like the King may have wrote these lyrics. I like it, but its forgettable.
