It seems like only yesterday that Keyshia Cole burst onto the R&B scene. Still wet behind the ears, she’s already being slated as this generation’s Mary J. Blige. Two platinum-certified albums and Grammy nominations later, it’s become clear that it was never her intention to let anybody down. Her newest track is a remix of Heaven Sent, the fourth single off her sophomore album, Just Like You. The remix stays true to the original sugary pop ballad, keeping the same The Ghostwriters-produced beat and most of Cole’s vocals. The only significant change is the addition of singer Mario. The two artists trade sweet nothings back and forth, resulting in a feel-good love story convincing enough to make you cry or cringe, depending on what kind of person you are.
Great choice with Mario on this remix. Both of their voices in harmony back and forth towards the end of the song...very nice! I also believe fans will want to hear the male version to this musical story and Mario brings that side of the story to life in this remix.
Yea this is a good one for them. Mario added a nice vocal to a already very good track. This is so beach music. Sunset watchin with ya loved one type @*#$!. RIP to the legends we lost this weekend. Mr. Mac! Mr. Hayes! You will be missed.

This remix was awesome. Mario serves this really nicely. I feel this joint is as epic as a Luther Vandross and Mary J. Blidge collab. He serves this track really nicely. Now this is the Mario I know....not that new Green Light one. Classic.
Keyshia and Mario sound great together. Even though its safe to assume that Mario merely cut his vocals and e-mailed 'em over to Keyshia's engineer. Not exactly Usher and Alicia on "My Boo," but not a bad listen whatsoever.
How was the original? Never heard of this song before. This remix is good, Keyshia sure has talent, and Mario too. Their voices are powerful and they perfectly melt into each other in this duet! But to me the song itself isn't that excellent...it's a pretty song but not one I would be crazy about!
