Absent from the Booth since mid-2009, Kevin Rudolf is back to Let It Rock once again with the lead single off his yet-untitled sophomore LP. I Made It finds the Cash Money singer/songwriter mining the same vein of pop appeal as he did so successfully back in ‘08, mixing arena-rock guitar with club-ready synths and, of course, a few well-chosen guest features. Both label boss Birdman and LIR collaborator Weezy join the headliner on the middle section of the record, the first stunting his way through a characteristically cash-crazy 16 and the latter following his adoptive father up with a little exultant braggadocio: “Came from the gutta lookin’ like my mother, made it to the goal line right out of the huddle.” Rounding out this triumphant cut’s guest lineup is Down hitmaker Jay Sean, who contributes his smooth vocal stylings on the back end. IMI‘s energy is undeniable, but does Kevin Rudolf’s patented hip-rock sound still hold the appeal it did when he first hit the scene?  I love what Kevin Rudolf is doing. He is successfully blending rock with hip-hop and pop. Jay Sean was a perfect fit here, Wayne was A LOT better than I've heard him recently, and this production made Birdman sound like a superstar. Anyone can sound good on that beat. Thats what makes Kevin Rudolf special.

Pretty solid track from Rudolf, the production sounded good & Weezy finally delivered a good verse. The addition of Jay Sean & Birdman were good, though not really needed.
3.5 - Could be another hit for Rudolf if all goes well |

This isn't "Let It Rock" sexy, but it definitely has mass appeal. I heard they believe in this one so much, they already shot a video (a rarity these days before getting critical feedback).

Finally this is featured on here! I like Jay Sean the best on here, I cant stand Lil Waynes "Oil" line, i just think its really cheesy, but his verse had some good lines, birdman brought his usual below averae work, and Kevin Rudolf was good, this will prolly be a hit

This really surprised me from what I expected. Everyone sounded good on here, which also surprised me, but Kevin steals the show. I'm not gonna say I'm a Rudolf fan now but more songs like these and I could be.

This song is PERFECT, whether its Rudolfs triumphant voice on this triumphant beat or Jay Seans crooning or Weezy's spitting or Birdman actually being decent. Point blank, this is a SMASH!

Other than the chorus, which they over produced (Jay Sean could have been anyone after that much production) everything really works here. Not a personal favorite, but I respect how well it's put together.
And great to hear Weezy actually rapping again. Stop singing Wayne!

Man, this is way better than Let it Rock for me.
Even Birdman didn't ruin the song. Hook was perfect. This is definitely getting added to the ipod. |

This song is soo good!!! I'll definately be bangin this for a bit! I really like the production, and overall just a really good song! Im surprised that Kevin actually came back with another hit after Let It Rock, I thought he would be a one album wonder. Good job Cash Money!!

I think Kevin and Jay could've split the hook half-and-half. It would make a good blending contrast between Kevin's rock-ish edge and Sean's smooth crooning.
Birdman actually had a decent monosyllabic flow, but he talks about the same shit over and over again... Lil' Wayne dropped a pretty decent verse. I love how they each referenced a song of theirs. Kev referenced "Let it Rock", Baby "100 Million", Jay Sean "Down", and Lil' Wayne "Drop the World". Overall, excellent track. Definitely not an expected collaboration. |

yo, i dont mean this in a bad way at all, but i expected Rudolf to dissappear and be a 1 hit wonder after Let It Rock. im glad to see i was wrong. this is another potential hit. i think this would be better with no or only 1 feature tho.

I think the beat is very good well done blending hip hop and rock. Jay sean sounds perfect here, weezy does well. The only keepin this from being a 5 is i wasnt feelin birdman or his verse a lot of it is repeated from his old songs.

Is it me or does Rudolf sound like Linkin Park a bit? Either way if for him alone it'd be a 5. Birdman usually would turn it to a 2.5 but actually turned it to a...4.5, congrats. Never knew how Jay Sean sounded, now I realized I heard him a few weeks ago lol. Weezy didnt do bad, but i can honestly say for once birdman did better than him...4.5/5, should be on radio

This is HOT, although I couldn't tell the difference between Jay and Kevin at first. Nice for Kevin, Jay, and Lil Wayne. Birdman did a Huge disservice to the track, but Wayne saved him, so it's alright.
