Next Tuesday, after Kanye (808’s & Heartbreak) and Ludacris (Theater of the Mind) drop their respective new albums, artist/producer/musician Kevin Rudolf will premiere his debut opus, In The City.  Thus far we have featured Rudolf’s Weezy-assisted lead single, Let It Rock, as well his Nas collaboration, NYC; both have garnered a positive response from the DJBooth community.  Next up for the Universal Republic/Cash Money signee is Welcome to the World, a guitar-driven album cut featuring Rick Ross, which details the habits of a female who can’t get enough of the high life.  Rudolf knows what she likes, but he wants to bring her back down to Earth.  If he is successful, more power to him; some things are easier sang than done.

This is definitely decent. This sounds like the Radio Rip or a 64 kbps version. That sort of takes away from the song. But the song itself was pretty hot. The hook was the kicker. Ross did his thing. That "Okay, hello" part reminded me of Kurt Cobain on "Smells Like Teen Spirit". I don't know if that was a homage move or not, but ill nevertheless. I'll give this 4, but I hope I can obtain a higher quality version to experience the full effect.

So wait, Rudolf is going up against Kanye and Luda in the same week, or he's the week after? If its the same week, sadly good luck.

Let's see here:
-Wayne
-Nas
-Ross.....The man definitely is in good company with Cash Money, and getting these crazy guest features. I would put this one in between Let It Rock and NYC, I like the flow on here and its a little different than the other 2.

Again I agree with you MH this is a poor quality song and I hope this isnt album version because this isn't bad. I think it might be better the NYC because that song sounded to much like let it rock...but lets face it so far he hasnt been able to come close to matching that songs popularity and radio spins. Songs not bad tho Im intested to see what his cds like and if he has another song tucked up his sleave with another crazy artist.

Cash Money has come along way. I 'd love to see this cat rock one of them old Cash Money Bling chains. That would be amusing. This one is my least favorite song from Kev so far. This is a new sound for Ross. He made it work for himself. This is playable.

the quality sounds bad but I like this...the beat is good and ross sounds decent. All of this guys songs sound so similar but until I get tired of hearing it I am not gonna complain.

For some reason, Kevin is really annyoing at the begining of this song for me, but the chorus is good. I think that Rick Ross sounds great on a rock song for some reason, but it works so I'm not going to complain. And his verse wasn't bad in my opinion.

This is pretty good, though i prefer Let It Rock over this. Cash Money couldnt of picked a worse week to bring out a album, the lads going to get killed in album sales by Kanye & Luda. Rick Ross was alright on this, the dude can sound good when he wants to
