Though listeners might not know him by name, Kevin Cossom has built up a strong reputation behind the scenes, most notably for the hooks he’s penned for many of production duo The Runners’ recent hit singles (see Go Getta, All the Above, Speedin’, Cash Flow). Recently made the flagship artist of Timbaland protégé Nate “Danjahandz” Hills’ N.A.R.S. Records, the Orlando native is preparing to announce his major distribution deal, but not before he releases his debut EP, simply titled Pre-Album, on December 16.  EP cut You Know What You Doin’ has the makings of a hit, mixing KC’s smooth vocals with a club-ready beat from Danja to create a potential banger.  Hopefully, Kevin’s TBA major backing will be enough to catapult his career to the next level.

So before listening to this song, I already had high expectations. The Danja production with a fresh picture sets the tone for what I think the song will be like. I probably set my expectations a little too high, but this song is still really fresh and unique. I like the style from this artist and like I said before, another solid beat from Danja. This one can make moves, I'm really into it.

Extremely average to me. Danja hyped him up already so much, I really expected more now, since this is only the 2nd or 3th KC/Danja song thats out there, they should have come way harder for the first look...

The production makes my ears bleed and it sounds cheaply and poorly made. The beat is so repetitve and monotone and the lyrics dont make it any better. Sounds like a song any random guy off the street can make plus the "Ay" in the background and them random noises in the background you hear everyonce in a while are annoying. Get off the autotone which even makes it worse. Weak track right here it is disorganized throughout. Im not hatin this guy got pretty good potential but this song is garbage

Kevin has MAD talent as both a songwriter and a singer. Based on his writing credits and his potential, he has what it takes to deliver much blazing work than "You Know What You Doin."

With that said, I always remind listeners to take work for what it is. This is an EP track, which will not make a final album. A few drinks in, if this came on in the club, I'd nod the head up and down...

I wasn't digging it when it first came in. It felt too "buzz" annoying. But once the joint got rolling, I was really digging. I like this joint better than K.C's last single. I definitely am feeling it. Great production by Danjahandz as usual and this whole vibe and mix is on point! I'll definite be running this joint back!

If the song was more like the part where he sings "I don't know what your name is, but I know who you are.." I'd listen to this with much more pleasure.
It's pretty messy. Maybe I'll get used to it

A desent song. Production is nice a little over bareing at first which almost made me turn it off. I like this song no doubt. It will never be a classic. But deffinately a banger. It's worth listening to over again. Normally I have no problem with Danja's production but the chorus and beginning are almost to much to bare. It's deffinately a song girls can dance to.

I'm really feelin this track. I don't understand who says that the production sounds poor and cheap. To me it's original and fresh! I also like the beat and his voice...it's not that this could be a banger, IT IS a banger!

Love the production and the dude has a good voice, and flows well. I'd say a 3.5, but I'll give it a 4 because I think it could grow on me. Diggin' it.
