Here in the Booth, we do all we can to keep up with our readership’s tastes, noting favorite artists, producers, and even sample trends. Today, we proudly present a record featuring three such elements. Drake fans are likely aware of Juice, a cut that has been circulating around the ‘net in an unfinished form for some time. This newly-released, official version of the track comes with a few notable changes: it now belongs to BMI award winner Kevin Cossom, and it’s been rechristened I Get Money. Drizzy’s verses are retained, as is Boi-1da‘s beat, centered around a synthesized rendition of the chorus from Suzanne Vega’s Tom’s Diner (also sampled/interpolated on Booth-approved tracks by 2Pac, Gorilla Zoe, Mike Dreams and Al Gator). Though Cossom’s debut album has yet to receive a solid release date, fans who want their own copies of I Get Money (Remix) won’t have to wait long; the track will be included on Cossom’s Pre-Album (Vol. 2) EP, set to hit online retailers Nov. 17.

I never paid too much attention to Drake's leaked version, so this nice little treat in my mailbox was as new as the day I was born.

Setting aside Drake's contributions here, which are well done; Kevin has such an infectious voice. The topical content is boring (or should I say, overdone) but both artists deliver pure ear candy.

Looking forward to Pre-Album 2!

Boi 1da been comin on strong lately. Him and Drake have become a good duo.

this is good, Drake has ku flow, Cossom's voice and the beat sound so smooth together. kinda weird not to hear Drake on a chorus for once.
3.5

Wow apart from the cliche topic this song is sick! Drake sounded a little bored but his lyrics were tight and that hook/beat combo was so smooth. Cossom sounded great. I'll give it a 4. It was tight and that sampled melody never gets old.

I'm tired of yall money. If you ain't sharing, shut the @*#$! up! Aside from that I like the production. The Tom's Diner chime is dope! Drake's low voice verse fit right in, in the beginning! I like the song, but not the wack ass coin words. Prada, paper, money, etc annoying, but it's no doubt a club banger.

Still haven't figured about such strong backing by @DJ Z for Kevin Cossom's vocals ...

As for song, Copy and Paste @BDF44 ... Rotation-Stuff.

Ill be honest, I thought the first verse from Drake was pretty weak, the second verse was good, though nothing spectacular. The production from Boi-1da was average as well.

The hook from Cossom is this tracks strong point, he came with a reasonably catchy hook.

What's a Kevin Cossom?

LOL! Naw, this was cool. Drake's verse has always been pretty dope. I like the production.

For some reason, it's sounds MAD FAMILIAR to this cat who had a track on here a little while back. I think DJBOOTH even hosted his mixtape. Dang...it's too bad I can't remember dude's name.

Oh, and for the record, this is Drake feat. Kevin Cossom (I mean, it's not really/literally, but c'mon! You heard the track. Nuff said.)

Acutally a lot better than I expected, the cliched title hoodwinked me lol. This is a song that could really benefit from a deep voiced rapper like Gorilla Zoe or Gucci Mane instead of "Drizzy". Drake wasn't terrible, but I honestly feel he was outdone here. Cossum absolutely killed it on the chorus. Good song, I'll be playing it in rotation. If he makes another version with someone such as Gucci or Zoe, it could really be big. Third time's the charm, right? This one has potential though. 4 stars.

Honestly I'm tired of songs with this old, overrused melody and I'm also tired of rappers repeating words like money, Gucci, Prada and I'm fly.

On the original song without cossom the background beat was boring and now i can't get enough of it. I think he just added a little something that made it hit

Kevin Cossom definitely has appeal. (Just the way he says C-O-S-S-O-M is appealing) He can sing, and drake can rap. Therefore this is a nice refreshing collabo.

Literally the ONLY thing that coulda made it better would be if Drake WOULDNT HAVE used that laid back just got out of bed, tired, i need some coffee to wake up voice...then again thats what i thought bout the original. either way the song goez hard Drake killed it and Kevin Cossom did his part to make the chorus good so...BANGER
