Having co-written numerous hits for other artists (including Keri Hilson‘s #1 smash Knock You Down), Kevin Cossom is more than ready parlay his behind-the-scenes success into center-stage stardom. The track is catchy, production and melody-wise, there's no denyin that. I like the production shifts, they really work for the track. Kevin can sing pretty well, and seems to have a knack for melody and writing. Snoop is an obvious and great addition to a track like this. I can easily see this gettin pleny of radio love.

Guess who's bizack? Sorry to be absent on the page for a while; I've been keeping busy at film school and spending lots of time with my girlfriend. Life is good.
Anyways, I've been checking the booth every once in a while to check out what's going on; just had no time to comment. Now, onto the track... KC, just like The-Dream, is an excellent writer. However, his vocal range is very limited, and he should probably remain behind-the-scenes. I don't see him matching the success he has had writing with a solo career. This track has potential but I don't see it becoming smash. Overall a modest success. |

It is a real cool song and you know I did not know this guy. I've heard of him in all but I haven't heard anyone shout his name out on a song or anything. But it's a decent joint have to grow on me to get to banger status though. 3.5 stars homie.

I liked Compatible, Limelight, and Late Night better than this. I love K.C. but no need to jock The-Dream like this.
Snoop Dogg was an odd choice for a feature. Makes no sense given the songs vibe. |

Ive been a massive fan of KC since I download the 'Pre Album' LP on his myspace. The dude has got serious talent & ive been telling anyone who listens that he'll be the next big R&B artist.
To this track, its not as good as some of the tracks on that LP I alluded to (Late Night & Hang That Over Me), though its still pretty tight. The production was good (as expected from Danja), KC's vocals were good & Snoop always delivers smooth verses on these types of joints. |

First Up: Wassup!! @Phantom ... Nice to see you back postin in here. My thoughts on this joint are quite similiar to yours ...
Just like this I like plenty of Kevin's songs, but because of the songwriting and melody, not due to his vocals... which are type nice! but nuthin special. The melody on the verses and hook is mos def catchy... Snoop kinda disappoints and do just decent to what he can do ... Kevin is very talented and has alot of industry heavyweights that have his back... but I doubt this will blow up major. That being said, A cool Video will help it big time. |

Cali in the house! I'm lovin this song by Kevin Cossom. This guy has been on my radar for a long time. Dude has a voice that is out of this world. Not to mention I think in my opinion he has a style all his own. Hate him or love him he's the truth. BANGER!

I liked the song (and I don't really listen to R&B) but it had Danja beat so it's gotta rock! Unfortunately Snoop was pretty lame which why it's only getting 3 stars...I hope KC didn't pay him too much for his guest verse.

He sounds so much like The Dream even the "make her say 'ow'" that you can't help but like this song. I need to hear more to develop an opinion about him as an artist but this song is a banger.
