No longer content to simply Get Money, singer/songwriter Kevin Cossom has cooked up a dastardly new scheme – on this newly-leaked mixtape inclusion, he and beatsmith Schife embark upon a mission to take Take the Club Ova. As the Go producer distracts partiers with a compulsively, chaotically danceable beat built from tympani-fortified bass, handclap percussion, and arpeggiated synths, the headliner springs into action, asserting his supremacy with a double-helping of heavy-duty stunting. By the time Schife steps up to the microphone to lace the track with his own brand of iced-out braggadocio, everyone in the spot is under Cossom’s spell – especially the females. K.C. once again takes center stage on the back end, recapping the action for inattentive listeners: “We just took the club over… I had a good time, she had a good time, now she gon’ come with me and she gon’ stay the night.” Needless to say, all involved live happily ever after. Like what you’re hearing? Grab a copy of Cossom’s forthcoming pre-album EP, Hook VS. Bridge when it drops on the 27th.

I liked the energy here but I'm not gonna lie, I like KC better when he sings more and the songs are catchy. But nonetheless, this has club appeal and isn't bad at all. Rotation.

That isn't KC rapping. it's also Schife rapping. and the song is wack. I completely lost interest in KC now after this one. He sings about the same nonsense over and over. he has no deep lyrics. Actually I consider him as wack. The Danja co-sign means NOTHING to me. Danja must be deaf actually!

KC has been wildly compared to Usher earlier in his career, so it makes sense that on a non-album project he'd try to appeal toward that club/rap audience. For the project this record is set to appear on it makes perfect sense and isn't bad. But, I believe KC has a better chance at winning over more listeners if he sticks with crooning over R&B/Pop records.

^^^^ agree with these guys..this is the first song from him that I really didn't care much for..as long as he focuses primarily on singing he's good in my book

Props to Schife.

I expect to hear everyone (Gucci and friends, Gorilla Zoe, Lil Scrappy, etc.) on the remix.

Ah...it bangs, but not much else. Would have liked to see more from Cossom on this one, seems like he's just playing his part. I'll pass....

I still haven't figured about strong backing by @Z for Kevin Cossom's vocals.

The words that pops into your head throughout this is - he is really dumbing down his music in every/formulaic way to crossover.
