R&B singer Keri Hilson started her career writing hits for stars such as Britney Spears, Ciara and Usher, but after the successful release of her album In a Perfect World…, Hilson’s now keeping some of her best songs for herself. Her newest track, I Like, is a sexy, catchy song that could very well become a chart topper. Produced by David Jost and Robin Gruber, it has a dark, electronic beat that matches perfectly with Hilson’s sultry voice. The track starts off light, and slowly picks up into the chorus, which Hilson handles perfectly. She doesn’t overuse the hook “I Like” throughout the track; she just simply sprinkles them in at the perfect times. Clearly Hilson is not only a very talented singer, but an extremely adept songwriter as well. I Like is the latest single off of the German re-release of Hilson’s debut album. Yes, its true. I have a crush on Ms. Hilson. Pretty face? Check. Nice body? Check. Sexy voice? Check. Overall appeal (talent and looks together)? Yes. Thus, how could you not dig any club-oriented cut that oozes maturation and sensuality.

Is it just me or does she look like she's levitating in the picture?
I can see why they chose this track for a European release, it's got that electro-house vibe they seem to dig so much. Hilson's one of the most talented artists in the game right now, and even on purely enjoyable tracks like I Like she proves it. (There's some bug in the system that won't let me rate, but if it was working I'd give it 3 stars.)

A bit of a departure from Keri’s normal hit-making tracks, very Euro, but I must say that Keri pulls it off nicely. Overall, the song makes for a good dance track and will mos def appeal to the music interests of wider audience. It'll be interesting to see what direction Keri will choose for her sophomore album. Rotation-Stuff.

I can definitely see why she picked this to be on the European release. She handles this electro-house type song very well I must say. Her voice works perfectly with it.
I'm glad she didn't use "I Like" though - That would have ruined the song. This is going in my mp3 player. |

Yo this is the best track I've ever heard from Ms. Keri. This doesn't need powerful vocals nor tricky metaphors or lyrics she proves she can write a classic track for herself...i just wish she wrote something like this for her entire album...guess we'll have to wait for round 2. Outstanding track.

Didn't expect to hear such a poppy song from Keri Hilson. I hope her new songs aren't all like this one! Anyway it's a really good song, catchy and with an energetic beat! She sounds sweet and his voice perfectly fits the electro music! I'm sure this song will be a hit here in Italy (Keri Hilson is already much loved, though). Will go in my mp3 player!

I think Keri Hilson is so versatile. She switches from Pop to R&B effortlessly. I am in love with this song. I like the short spurts of song mixed with the stressed words in the chorus. Not a classic but definitely a banger
