Though her first two singles, Energy and Return the Favor, failed to achieve the massive success her label was hoping for, it looks like Keri Hilson has finally struck gold with the Lil Wayne-assisted, Turnin’ Me On; satisfied with the buzz built by the new single, Interscope has officially confirmed that her debut album, In A Perfect World…, will drop March 30th. One of the songs set for inclusion on thatt album uses similar imagery to Weezy‘s Phone Home. Having been out of touch and Alienated from her longtime man, Keri hopes that bringing back memories of their time together will be enough to convince him to beam her back up. In addition to the creative songwriting, Cory Bold‘s out-of-this-world production should no doubt help Alienated blast off to the top of the charts – though it’s not a single yet, don’t be surprised if Interscope decides to make it so.

This is the best track I've heard from Keri Hilson ever. Great mix as well. It takes you on a trance. I like the "Phone Home" imagery and the flanger on the vocals. 4 stars.

Keri has been droppin some serious dope joints lately ... this should be good on Radio .... oh wait the use of 'Tabla' i.e Indian Drums on Breakdown was jus too gud ... totally feelin it ..... have yall checked out another dope joint from Keri - Promise in Dark [JR Rotem]??

I've like a couple of her songs but I'm not feelin this as much. I miss my ex i know i already said that but it's sooo true:[....uhhh so im giving the lyrics a 3 but everything else a 1. It wasn't that bad though.

What the heck are you talking about M. Burmy?? I did listen to the lyrics on this one...but if you're talking about other songs- if they have an annoying beat, rapper, or whatever, why would I care for the lyrics?? If I already know I won't listen to the song again I could care less about what they're saying ya know?? I mean even if it does have a good message, not listening to that one song won't ruin my life or whatever there's tons of other songs with good messages...so it's basically just a waste of my time...But I do try to give all tracks a fair chance.

I agree, MH - best Keri Hilson song yet! You know why? Because her singing is center stage; instead of a crazy club beat or guest verse from someone. See artists... if you have real talent, it CAN shine through!

I soo love Keri Hilson, I like almost every song she chooses as single. This one is very cool, the music and the beat are super in my opinion. Plus I've always loved her voice, so it's the right combination to make this a banger! I'll look for the lyrics and I'm sure I'll like them, too
