On a mission to Get It, Ke’Noe has been on a relentless grind for the last few years, pumping out beats for Southern greats like Turk, Too Short, C-Murder and Lil Flip. At this point, his resume spans work in Atlanta, California, New York and Louisiana—every state that the emcee/producer claims on his Myspace. Ke’Noe’s new collaboration with producers DJ Toomp and Wonder, is an anthemic crowd mover that Ke’Noe uses as a platform to explain his reasons for the grind. The emcee lays down the outline for getting it—money, success and haters—and provides a bass/horn heavy beat and a serious tone, which are more than enough to help listeners understand.
Oooo....like Kanye said on "Big Brother", "Toomp kilt this ish". Ke'Noe's flow is straight. His presence on the tracks makes up for the lack of lyrical skill. The energy of the track reminds me of T.I. I'll toss it in rotation.
I can guarantee that if T.I. took this beat, members would be "ooohing" and "ahhhing" over how special this effort was (that wasn't a shot at you, Da Bo$$). For an up-n-coming producer/rapper,this is solid (...and for those wondering, yes, solid is my favorite word).
Yea! I agree with dj Z! This is onea those beats that would knock to errbody if the big name was rappin on it! Its a cool track! nothin too special but solid!
lol...wow this dude kinda looks like lil scrappy on the cover of "Prince of the South"....but yeah this sux... sounds like a typical hip hop track... sorry but I'm not feel'n the simplicity...
This beat is fire...I like this alot. I don't like the chorus too much. The production is the best part. I'd listen to this simply because this beat is hot.
I agree this would've been better if it were in the hands of TI or even Young Jeezy.
I agree wit karleone its a lot better than alot of music thats out The beat is a bangger reminds me of some t.i. and jeezy but i guess cause it comes form the same production camp and i herd he was like toomp ghost producer
