Best known as a member of the Def Squad trio (along with Redman and Erick Sermon), Long Island native Keith Murray went through major deals with Jive and Def Jam before finally landing at mid-major Koch for ‘07’s Rap-Murr-Phobia. Now with pure indie L.O.D. Records, Murray reassures the fans he’s still the Most Beautifullest Thing In This World, brushing off his haters with “You can hate me ‘cause my whip’s more flyer than yours/ ‘cause your girl wanna give me her drawers/ but don’t hate me ‘cause I’m beautiful/ I’m nice like that.” Topped with Erick Sermon‘s fresh-as-a-cool-breeze production, Don’t Hate Me Cause I’m Beautiful boasts a strong balance of old-school rhyme schemes and new-school analogies; a combination all hip-hop heads should love. Murray’s sixth album, Intellectual Violence, will hit stores April 22.

Sermon's production is very crispy. I must say that first. Keith's flow is fresh. Nice to hear him after a lot of this crap we've been hearing. Definitely dope. Intelligent flow and lyrics. Welcome to Hip Hop people! Wonder what WOW will say about DIS! LOL! Hahahaha

wow this song is hott. Keith takes it to a new level with this one. The lyrics are on point plus some, and everything else is good too. Keith has always had some good songs but this right here is one of my favorites i have heard. Keith Murray lyrics are very underrated. This is definitely a banger.

this production is MAD crazy blud! loving this production, loving it! and Keith Murray, man this man goes back in the day to some classic tunes with Diddy, but this song is tight, and his flow is good as well as, again, the perfect production.

Keith Murray is one of the best rappers to listen to in the car. Don't ask me why, but I have always enjoyed rush hour traffic with Keith out the speakers. This is solid, I hope he doesn't rush this new album out.

I still think Keith Murray is underrated and he never really obtained the greatness that he was supposed to. The good thing about him is that his Flow is still a very good one and it is exhibited well on this track. This beat by Eric Sermon is Ridiculous!!!! Can't wait fir this album if its gonna sound like this! The last album was better than I expected too!
