After getting verses from Prodigy and The Alchemist on the remix to That Go, underground Oakland veteran Keak Da Sneak has moved closer to home for his newest buzz single. Together with fellow Bay Area veterans E-40 and Clyde Carson, Keak gives the blow-by-blow account of what goes down in the Bay’s streets—after all, that’s All I Know. Providing the soundtrack for this regional team-up is 40 Water‘s son Droop-E, who gives the beat a Hyphy twist, and Sam Bostic, who adds funkiness with his signature electric guitar. Keak Da Sneak’s 17th solo album (the first on mid-major Koch), Deified, is currently scheduled to drop on June 10.
I can deal with E-40. He always brings it. I never could get with Keak. Just random suck trash. The beat is pretty good though. This is some hyphish soul right here. Hook is well put together as well. Clyde Carson's flow and delivery really makes this song listen-worthy! Dope track besides Keak.
I'm not a big Keak da Sneak fan, I have never really liked his voice or his flow. You cannot call yourself a true artist repping the Bay when DJBooth drops a Bay tribute song by a rapper out of ST Louis and it's 3x hotter than yours.
What the hell is he talkin about? I heard something about lunch, a babe and a carseat I think. He sounds like my uncle after a couple of shots of Patron... C'mon yo, at least turn the volume up on your verse, 40 did his thing though
uhhmmm......what, he need to stop mumblin. AND YA'll Should be on NELLY'S BAY SONG mayne dis isnt dat great. they would make a betta reaction if they were on his track. lol wack.
First of all... Nelly wouldn't even be doing a HYPHY song if it wasn't for an artist like Keak. True, E-40 made the sub-genre go mainstream, but Keak helped pave the way too. If Nelly gets more props, its merely because more people listen to his household name. Clyde Carson sounds good!!
Seein as I'm from the bay, I wish I could give this song a higher score. clyde Carson definitely saved the song from sucking with his verse. I've never been a huge fan of Keak or the Bay in general. I only really like Keak on "That Go."
Keak sounds like hes on crack...I mean i know he normally sounds like that but hes not even rapping it's like hes just talking..the whole song besides the chorus is like a conversation...the beat is alrite though
The chorus isn't so bad, but you can't make money from songs with a good chorus - there's more to music than that. And Keak Da Sneak makes my ears bleed.
