After her summer ‘07 hit Whine Up with Elephant Man, and her disappointing duet with Omarion, Cut Off Time, Kat DeLuna is trying to avoid the stigma of being a one-hit wonder. For the official second single from her debut 9 Lives, Kat remixes Run The Show; similar to the original version except for a Shaka Dee verse being replaced by Busta Rhymes. While producer Red One delivers on the dancehall beat, Kat’s bilingual vocals no doubt steal the show. Busta, who’s been known to bring the energy since his Leaders of the New School days, does not disappoint either with a very entertaining verse. Mix it all up and Run The Show equals a dancehall-chart smash.
Listeners need to remember that not all music is made for universal listening. Some music is meant for the club, other music can be meant for the mp3 player. This sounds okay on computer speakers, but blast it at the club and see the difference.
dont like this girls voice much jus annoys me a bit not sure why but this joints alright...the beat definitelygot my attenttion ], busta verse was cool 2.
Z is 100% right. no one gonna sing this in the car but the ladies will be comin up sayin "can you play that new kat deluna song? the ready ready ready one?" this is an ass shaker
This song was OK...the beat was used to death in the past already. I think she has a chance, but the single female R&B artist market is getting overcrowded with Beyonce, Ciara, and umbrella girl...
she can sing but her intro is like shi7 forced through a speaker. Beat is hot but rinsed, not bad. shes got a future but she needs a big album to break through the saturated female market. Definatley play dis loud rather then wiv crappy mp3 speakers. Not feelin busta and no surprise in this song.
Do a song wiv Akon, T.I.
Do same but bigger

Pretty damn good, it sounds like a club version of that Lumidee song that blew up a few summers ago, right down to the Busta verse. Anyone remember the name of the song I'm talking about? Slips my mind.
Nathan S., the name of that Lumidee song was "Never Leave You (Uhh Ohh)"...Lumidee basically disappeared until earlier this year, when "She's Like The Wind" rid her of her one-hit wonder status. Hopefully Kat won't disappear...she probably won't if those rumors about her and Omarion keep going on.
Kat is going to be one of those artists who maintain a sub-par fan base because of her unique style of music. She has talent, but her songs doesn't fit everybody's tastes.
